This is a pretty fair summation. The previous GTA games did have an element of fun and wackiness and the humor came from the satire and/or media references. GTA4 took a decidedly gritter and grimmer path that I think was worth taking. They probably overdid it in some ways (though I must say the storyline was definitely the strongest and one that if adapted well would make for a helluva movie.

I think they're going to go back more to their roots with GTA5 and poke around the more grittier aspects of the material and keeping a somewhat light touch to it with subtle satire that makes the player laugh rather than make them overburdened by the subject material.

I wouldn't mind if it they made money harder to get. It would be fine if you started out as a poor guy like CJ and had to opt to take a bike because you couldn't afford to fill up your ride. Then as you get richer and have a garage it automatically fills up or something.

I agree. And make money important.
If I am a millionare, I want to more recognized around the city. I would like to see more compliments from people when I am rich and less when I am poor. I want more things to buy. I dont want to have alot of money and have nothing to buy. I want to buy more cars, houses. I would like to buy Businesses and accessories. It would be great with I can buy a corner/mom and pops store for protection. We could get cut from store when we protect them. We could give them money to make them a bigger and better store.

Money has always been my biggest complaint with these sandbox games. It seems like 1/3 the way through a game, money seems less important cause you can find most guns, cars, etc without cash. They dont really reward you for shopping wisely or nothing.

              Fully agree.
I means nothing to be rich. Guns and Cars can be easily found by 33% of the game. There is nothing to do with money. I would like there be more stuff to buy. Heck, I wouldnt even mind donating money for a good reputation %. Just something.

That's why I don't think it would be that big of a deal really. It would suck to steal a car and get the cops on you only to run out of gas seconds later, but it would also add to the game and make a memorable experience that would be fun, thrilling, and hilarious.

Was checking my YouTube subscriptions earlier today and noticed RockstarGames right up at the top with a new uploaded video... it was for LA Noire, though.

Gas? This game don't need no "Gas pumping" LOL.

If you're gonna add that, then you might as well make us get the Oil changed in the Cars or change a flat tire ourselves as opposed to just driving thru the Car Wash and then the Car comes out brand new as if nothing happened

Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

Good Point. Maybe remove found guns completely.?

I'm playing GTA:SA and remove the found guns and the pacing of the first few hours is great.

Not competely, Just keep the special guns available to find. But, not easily findable. I liked how GTA: SA did it. The Jetpack was only findable in certain places. But, I wouldnt mind money being more hard to get and have it take a while to be rich.
Im am not sure if GTA V will continue its carry alot/unlimited guns for users? Most games involving guns recently only allows users to carry a max of 3 weapons. I wouldnt mind if GTA V does it.

Guess some of you were right, that "insider" info was BS.

If that long list of rumored features for GTA V seemed too good to be true, it's because they were. New information has surfaced debunking those rumors, some of which seemed too grandiose for current-gen consoles anyway.
