In regards to the flight school and the second heist:

Do I need to fully complete the flight school with Michael to advance to the heist? I started the flight school last night and exited after 2 of the "trials", and nothing happened. Not sure if I have to complete the whole flight school or not. I was headed off to bed anyways so I wouldn't have been able to complete it, but i'm just curious how much of it I have to do. If I don't have to complete the entire school, I don't want to, as i'm already fairly good at flying.

You don't have to complete it. They just point you there so you can get your flight stats up. I was having fun with it and ended up over 80% in flying, but I stopped after one attempt at the first helicopter level. It's pretty tough.

Wow you guys beat it quickly. I think I still have a ways. I hope I can finish main story before online. I've been doing a lot of side stuff though.


How does one rob armored trucks? I saw two guards parked at a gas station standing outside smoking. I killed both of them, but truck was locked. I guess if I would have had sticky bombs on me I could have blown the doors open?

I'm trying to time my finishing of the game so it coincides with the opening of online play. I'm at 48.10% progress so far.

With that said, I've been playing this game a ton (multiple 4+ hour sessions) so for the guys that have finished the story you either just stuck to mainly the main story missions or have done nothing but play non stop since release I'm guessing.

A question for those of you who finished the main story & posted about it here.

I see people wrote that choosing option C allows you to keep all 3 protagonists alive, yet some "guy" posted about Franklin dying (thanks for spoiler tagging it Matrix). I'm assuming he was making an attempt at a bad joke or you guys are just telling us what we would like to hear?

I'd really rather not have to kill off any of the 3 if it's possible.

Yeah, do enough damage to the center of the back doors and they'll open up.

If that's how his ended, then it was a massive fail on his part. All 3 of my guys are alive and doing quite well.

Ugh...I didn't stop til I got gold on everything. That's just OCD in me. And belief that I'm 1 helluva pilot lol. I didn't have any trouble until both heli challenges, they were tough but I got it after a few tries.

By the way, you do NOT get any achievement or any kind of recognition for completing every thing with gold. Just a heads up to those who may want to for an achievement.
