Gotta love the multiple ways you can plan heists. It incentivizes multiple playthroughs.

But sometimes the randomness of the game can screw you royally. For instance, it's early in the game and I just bought the airstrip. I needed a plane for something cool I wanted to do.

I'm going after the heavy load chopper in the military base for the other option in the nuke heist. I took the freighter assault method before, so I'm trying to mix it up and I don't have enough money for another plane. I'm gonna fly by and parachute in. I'm sure I'll still get heat on me, but whatever. It's my game, I play how I want.

But the only way to get access to the plane is to do the mission that automatically triggers once you enter it. So I do the mission which takes a hot minute, land the plane, taxi it into the hanger, complete the mission, and then I back it back out and get ready for the actual thing I wanna do.

All seems good, right? Well, just as I'm backing out and swinging around to take off, a damn crop duster is landing and runs right smack into me. Blowing up the plane, wasting me. Came right outta nowhere thanks to the camera angle at the time.

Now I gotta do another mission in the plane to get access to it. Funny, yet frustrating.

Long story short, you don't automatically get parachutes in planes until after a certain point.

I had enough time to play the game this weekend and got through the first heist mission. Really starting to enjoy the game now and growing an attachment to the characters.

Loved in Trevor's introduction that he took out Johnny from Lost and the Damned. He was such an annoying character and found it totally believable that his junkie girlfriend was his downfall.

Finally finished the main plot/missions and I'm only 52% done with game I believe.

Yes! That 5 minutes of dialog had me in tears. Rare that a video game makes me legit break out in load laughter. This was one of them.

Rockstar is always on point with this sorta thing, but the back and forth between Lamar and Trevor was so well done.

Jumping back into single player after messing around online for a month made me appreciate just how beautiful GTA really is.

One small thing that impressed me for some reason was a cultersack(spelling) that became developed throughout the main story. Early on it was nothing more than construction signs and an area ready to be developed. Toward the end of the story, I'm running from the cops, come crashing down into said area, and it's booming with families living there. Fully developed.

Any word on their being any single player DLC for this game down the road? I think I'm pretty close to completing the game.

Jumping back into single player after messing around online for a month made me appreciate just how beautiful GTA really is.

I have a question about the ending. I'm sorry if this has been answered, but I don't have time to search through a bunch of spoilers.

I'm electing to kill Trevor, which I haven't done yet. If I do, will I lose all of his freaks and geeks side missions? I want to try and get 100%. Will that keep from getting 100% or does his F&G side missions transfer to the other protagonists?

I think only Franklin's count towards the actual 100%. At least that's my impression from the Social Club stats.
