If you save all the assassination missions until postgame, you will have quite a bit of money to sink into the stock market for each assassination mission. Just google the assassination missions and you should easily find what stocks to invest and when to buy/sell.

I knocked those out last night...well over 2bil per character now.

I was really liking this game till some mission where I had to still tank for heist and lose the cops it's so aggregating to lose cops makes me almost want to quit the game with 636379 cops trying to chase me.

I actually thought it was quite easy to lose them on this version. The tank was a little harder because of the lack of speed but just find a place to hide in an alley or something similar.

Losing the cops at time just seem to be crazy. There are many times where I get away from cops and not even in their radar, but suddenly the gps map goes red again(meaning you're back on the cops radar) even though no cop was anywhere close to me. Triggering cops has always been strange part of GTA. Speed through a red light with a cop right there....nothing happens. Stand like 10 feet away from someone on the sidewalk.....cops are after you.

Or I could be like a mile away from any cop, then suddenly I see one cop spawn out of nowhere like 50 feet from my location. And when I have wanted stars, that happens to be the 1 part of the game where my guys suddenly forgot how to drive and my car starts driving horribly.


On a better note....I almost quadrupled my money. Bought PAL stock around 60 cents and today I sold it for over $2. I can buy most of the properties right now, it's just the big ones(the 10M,20M,30M,150M properties) I can't buy yet. I wanna buy the smaller properties now, but I don't want to take away from my current money so that I can grow this money to a high enough level so that I can buy all the big properties.

I hope this still happens when I finish the game, cause all the money I can possibly have by the end...doubling that would be much more impactful than doubling the several million I have now.

A cool thing I hadn't seen before: I was up on a construction site and came across a worker sitting on the edge of a rail, feet dangling off at least four stories up, eating a sandwich. Neato.

You can hide in alleys or places where your marker turns dark grey, it means they cant see you and they'll go away.

Just look for hiding spots in places you are and remember them

What console? I'm off this coming week and will be doing some gaming, I'd like to have some fun with OSers on the 360.

Just look for hiding spots in places you are and remember them

No matter where I hide, they'll usually always find me.

For example,I'd rob a convenience store,then go hide and I'm like 5 blocks away hiding in an alley(still not on the police radar), yet somehow on the gps map, I see the police drive to the convenience store for a few seconds, then out of nowhere they just start driving and end up in the exact spot that I'm hiding in.....

Sometimes I get saved by a few seconds as the police is moments away from catching me,and out of nowhere I lose all the stars.

Also....HAL stocks dropping again so expect it to be a great time soon to buy the stocks and double or triple your current money.

Yeah I've found HAL, Badger, and vapid to be the best ones at least recently

Badger and Vapid are good too, but none increases like HAL. HAL you get ALOT back if you buy when it's at like 60 cents and sell when it's around 2 dollars(especially since that can be done within a day or two)

I'm constantly doing this to see if I could possibly have enough money with Michael before even completing the game to buy the big money properties.

I'm thinking of buying the hangar for Trevor so I can do those missions, but it'd be an almost 500k purchase since the 150K needed could be invested into HAL and tripled.

I'm about a few missions away from the final mission and I'm not completing it until I do all else(since final few seem to connect). I'm doing EVERYTHING possible. I've collected spaceship parts,letters,nuclear waste(using the submarine is the most frustrating part of GTA cause of how slow it is) and I'm going through all the random events and hobbies.

Random events are horrible though. It's so hard to get the security vans to come up. And I never did the Simeon mission when I was supposed to,and based on other sites, sounds like it's now impossible to do once you pass the time to do it(luckily I don't need any of these to get 100% completion)

lol, I got some random glitch and actually got to play tennis vs Franklin. Only negative...it cheated like crazy. The ball was out so many times, and it was called in(so it was impossible for me to even catch up to those shots for obvious reasons)and when I hit it on the line,it's called out....Every game against Franklin, no matter where he was, he was able to hit the ball to the furthest part of the court from where I was, and he was able to run and catch the ball and dive like crazy.

After all that...Franklin STILL didn't gain any strength!

Just finished. Very much enjoyed the game. Though for me I was more bummed with IV ended then V. Will hold on for the DLC.
