Sweet, I contacted the local Target and they are going to hold a copy of the game for me even without a pre-order. Said they would hold it until the end of the day. I'll be getting my grubby hands on it before 4pm, I work until 3:30

I had a Xbox 360 copy and PS3 copy. Best buy let me trade in both for the one copy I was purchasing.

The trade in offer was 17 plus the 50% additional offer going on. Brought it out to be 25.50 x 2 = 51.00.

My GCU brought gta v down to 47.99 plus tax. My two previous games just bought the new one for me. Awesome deal.

I want to keep 3rd person for driving & when behind cover, but everything else 1st person.

I hope a setting like that exists.

I wish I knew this earlier. I created a new character and ended up using the bonus money.

I think it said if you had a character that had money before you did the transfer, you would lose that character but retain the money.

So when you do transfer, you'll have you last gen character, stats, money + whatever money youve made with the new character.



And impressions: game looks awesome. First person will get some getting used to. Even the driving is way different. I made it free aim, its hard to see that little dot on the screen sometimes. Wish you could change that.

I think they'll email it to you after you pick it up. That's what just happened to me after I picked up FC4; shortly after I was emailed my preorder code.

There's an audio profile in gta v options for the first wireless Sony headset. I'm gonna try it out with the golds.

Just picked up a copy from Target. It was still in the plastic wrap and had the code for the bonus money

Flew home to start the install... should be done when I get home from work.

All copies should have the money code inside the case right on top when you open it.

I bought mine from toys r us, no preorder and got the code in the box.

So I pre ordered it through psn got it done digitally had everything ready to go and was able to play at 10pm last night played the first 2 missions. Then woke up this morning and realized I was supposed to get the free $ for pre ordering. Unless I missed it or something does anybody know how we are supposed to get that $? Does Sony email us a code or send it through message? Or do we already have it in game and I over looked it? Any help would be great thanks guys.

I'm slowly but surely coming around on this 1st person view, especially when shooting from behind cover.

Just need to work on my shooting skills as I'm a bit rusty in that regard since I haven't played GTA since earlier this year on 360.
