How much endurance do you have? Most people always have it at 40. I don't think you have over that. Plus since you've already made your uchigatana into lightning, you wouldn't benefit putting points into dexterity over endurance.

Not sure but I'm using the Quelaag blade more than uchigatana which benefits from dex.

Also would there be any benefit to making my bow into something?

Depends, if you sitting at a high dex, it's better to just upgrade to a normal +15. Lightning and fire is really only better if you don't have high dex or strength.

I'm terrible still at this game and am still undead. I want to like this game but it's frustrating the heck out of me.

That and I can't play this while enjoying a few beers. I die even more often!

I'll stick with it but it's a totally different experience then I'm used to. Especially coming off Skyrim where you can just tank through things ones you level up enough.

Learn to parry, keep your equipment load down for fast rolling, don't waste souls on armor at the start of game, only increase your stats like STR or DEX to match what weapon you want to use, and Praise the Sun.

Ok I was thinking of going with the Thief or wanderer and wanted to use Katanas for the later game. So will I need to go down Dexterity for that?

Yeah, DEX. Some weapons and shields will have DEX and STR requirements. Some might even have magic requirements to wield it correctly. Try out a bunch of weapons and find one that you feel comfortable with and know you can count on. The Skeleton Key is a good starting gift to pick.

I choose the Thief and got the master key with it plus I chose the witch ring. Dont think I saw a skeleton key. I have a lot of weapons to use and so far I like the one handed ones. I might go into either faith or magic layer on.

So I mainly use the Drake sword since it does a lot of damage right now but Ima change it later. I also have the scimitar but not using it atm.

Also Im not upgrading anything for a while.

I played for 3-4 hours and rang the first bell only until I a group of ghost ganged up on me. Idk why but it makes me want to play more.

It all good. Just wondering if I could still get Lautrec armor. I knew I would have to kill him later so I decided to kill him in Undead Parish where he was imprisoned. I know your suppose to kill him in Anor Lodor.

Also Is there any ways to kill ghost. Because I have only one item left that allows me to attack them with my sword.

Lautrec is the Golden armored guy imprisoned in the Parish that has eyes for the Firekeeper right? I went through his questline, not sure if you can still get his armor. Try checking out the boss/unique armor vendor in Firelink. I wouldn't venture to that area yet, still tons of stuff to do. Blighty, Anor Londo, the whole sewer bit connected to the Parish and others. One of the vendors infinitely sells the item for ghosts after you clear the sewer area.

Yeah that guy. I attached him since I did not want to deal with that but it might of mess me up with getting his armor.

I went the wrong way for the second Bell. I might try to kill the red dragon then make my way down to lower undead burg and blightwood(don't want to deal with it though but gonna have to).
