WOW... I cant belive that they are not going to do anything with MP!! The CO-OP was fantastic but why they dont add a 8v8 MP with 8-12 maps is mind blowing. Lots of folks on the forums were very unhappy with OFR MP so I was really hoping for an improvement there.

imo it's got to be way more than 8vs8....the maps are huge (and should be huge).

for single player and MP they need to allow custom loadouts, add more sniper rifles, and improve the 'lens' the game uses. When someone is 200meters away they look more like 4 or 500 meters away. I enjoyed the last one to a degree and the multiplayer had potential....but that was then, if this was just an update I won't be interested.

oh yeah and enemie sight lines and accuracy - that was pretty redonkulous

Yeah...the enemy was way too amped up .....it was great to be tough...but at times.....very maddening.

First day buy. This is the only FPS I enjoy more than an hour.

Loved, obviously, the last one and hope they never try and go "COD feel". That's whats going to kill SOCOM.

Yeah, I'm REALLY getting worried about SOCOM. I hope they didn't ruin that series.. I saw some videos where they were looking down the sights and it looked pretty nasty.

I've got a good feeling about Red River though. It sounds like they learned a lot from Dragon Rising..

Man I would never touch this on a console lol. ARMA 2 and the expansion Operation Arrowhead is what you want if your looking for military sims. Strictly pc, a console will NEVER do a game like this justice.

There shouldn't even be a debate bro. Thats a hands down thing we're talking about here.

On top of that, operation flashpoint fell off. ARMA2(pc) brutalizes it in every way possible.

I didn't feel that way.
At least for me it was nothing like COD. I left hud off and played hardest levl and man it was more fun than anything COD has ever done.
But I agree they fell off their path somewhat but seems they are going back

Console played just fine. I also prefer the PC but no reason to start these PC vs Console fights....
I always played on PC(I used to to do all gaming on PC) and may go back after Diablo gets released. In any case some can't afford to get a high level PC to play or want some of the headaches that come with it. I'll never understand the "I'd never play on console" posts and general dissing of console. You like it on PC so play it on PC.

You are correct sir, BUT (there's always one of those lol) first I'm not dissing consoles, thats pretty much all I game on UNLESS it comes to a military sim. There's too much depth to those types of games and consoles just simply cannot handle it. Just a fact bro.

If you want a stripped down version of the game thats cool with me lol.
