Made the game harder for myself with out realizing it, oh man it is going to be on now. Might do an all sniper team.
Gotmad? has that patch had a huge impact on a.i. in your opinion? My major complaint with Dragon was lousy teammate/opponent a.i. If that hasn't improved much i'll pass............
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Teammate AI is pretty good and get even better once you upgrade their weapons. Could it be better ? Hell yeah it could be, but it isn't as bad as most people said it was.

This game is way more tactical then the last game. You really got to learn to use suppression and flanking on every level. The enemy in this game is always trying to flank you, which is what I like about the game. You throw a grenade at them and if they see it land they will run away.

Trying to take an enemy's position head on by force is suicidal. The enemy will mow you and your team down with 50 cals, RPGs and snipers.

        Re: Operation Flashpoint: Red River

There must've been two of these threads because at some point I bought this game and was posting a bunch about how much I was enjoying it

This is one of the most sim shooters I have played on this console all of the teamwork it took to make it through the missisons was 2nd to none

Is there another one coming out at any point? Does anyone know?

I had a blast with this game...only wish I could've gotten some 12 man co op in

I know I'm way late to the party, but I have been playing Dragon Rising and loving it. I'm picking up Red River tonight from GS. Love the realism. Anybody still playing?

Cool. I just bought Red River yesterday at GS. Me and a buddy are wrapping up Dragon Rising's Co-op campaign right now, we will step right in to RR when we finish.

How much did it cost Grit? Thinking about taking plunge.

Does anyone here still have access to a copy of the advanced training manual that codemasters put out for this game?

If you want realism, play Bohemia's games (Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, Arma 2/3)

Very disappointed in Codemasters efforts in comparison.
