My current character is already a level 28 and I haven't started the main quest (haven't talked to the Jarl in Whiterun yet) and I barely started the Dark Brotherhood quest.

I've just been traveling around, doing an odd job here or there while clearing out some caves and forts. Collecting stuff to create potions to build up a little bank roll for when I start to buy a house.

Going pure archer this time. Haven't even used a sword or anything (I carry a dagger that hasn't been used) yet outside of the first part where you have to. Been pretty fun.

For anyone that experienced all the crazy problems on PS3 when the game first came out: did it ever get fixed?
The game slowed down to a crawl after about 40 hours of play time for me =/

I didn't have any issues. Played 70 to 80 hours with a few different characters.

They patched it up and the game runs pretty smooth now. I have over 230 hours and am still going with my first character. I am about to finish up the main quest in unison with the Dark Brotherhood quest line.

Thank goodness they fixed it up. I love this game. It is my favorite RPG ever.

Now if they can just get all the DLC to work correctly for us PS3 players. I would love some new content.

I was never one that had game breaking problems and I had 120 hours on my game file. They did some optimization and smoothed some things out though. There are still some hiccups with the most recent patch like freezing 100% the time when you entered water but that's fixable by deleting the game data and doing a fresh install and update.

After taking a few months off from consistently playing Skyrim (I had Madden & NBA 2K to start playing), I popped this back in and now I can understand why this is most fun and best game I have ever played.

*of course I had to delete the game data and re-download the update, because that was the fix for the 100% water-freezing issue.

It's unbelievable how many hours of my life I've spent with this game and the pure "exploration" of this game keeps me wanting more - as time just seems to go by way to fast.

Who's still lovin' this game? I for damn sure am!

+1. I can't put the game down too. Problem now is that I've started Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch and is simply a masterpiece, pure art.

Same here i tried to play with a khajit and i couldnt even convince myself that the story was legit lol.

After seeing everyones time put into the game, I popped in the game & saw that I had put in 60 hours into my lvl 33 warrior & feels like i barely scratched the surface...

It's no coincidence that a dragon just so happens to appear in Skyrim for the first time in centuries right as my Redguard is passing through. Fate is fate.
