Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Well, I've read numerous times (don't remember where) that Skyrim is considered to be the wilderness or the frontier of Tamriel. So given the circumstances, it only makes sense that there isn't a huge city.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Still no bugs to date in the Dragonborn DLC. I don't even see any small things leading up to a crash either. I've finished a few minor quests and just really started getting into the main quest. I've probably played over 10 hours so far.
Now, I am using a level 20 character than hasn't even retrieved that horn for the Graybeards yet. If you guys played Fallout NV on PS3 with the DLC, you'd know that once you reach a certain file size, the game will slow down to half a frame per minute and become unplayable. I won't know if that is the case here by the time Tuesday roles around.
The only thing that I have come across is when you either come back to Skyrim or Solstheim. When you arrive and have autosave on, the game will freeze for 10 seconds while it figures out what's going on. Nothing huge, and I don't foresee it becoming a problem.
By the way, this DLC is the best DLC I've ever played compared to Fallout 3 and NV. There is so much to do and so many new weapons and treasure. I'm making BANK! Had about 20,000 on Tuesday, now I'm up to nearly 70,000. Although, that could just be because I'm playing a whole lot more with this character than I had before. I'm saving up for building a new house on Tuesday.
I'll keep playing up till Monday and see if I'll run into bugs. I recommend that if you haven't already, delete the game data and start fresh with the latest updates from the start. I'm still playing with the same data I first installed back in April, never had a problem.Comment

They haven't made anything on the scale of Vivec since..well Vivec. That city could of been its own game with the amount of stuff you could do there.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Its cool that they are trying to keep the landscape realistic in terms of how close in relation they are to each other but like I mentioned in the Oblivion thread, they've never come close to reaching the diversity of Morrowind when it came to the land and its cities. I'm sure its a graphical resource/memory thing.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Been playing Dragonborn on my PS3 for the last 3-ish hours and I haven't had a single issue yet.
Runs smooth, some awesomely unique dungeons, just a great experience so far.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I think I'm planning on starting a new character anyway to clean up some stuff in the main game (mage college story line mostly) but it'd also be nice to be able too continue with my dual wield sneaky brotherhood powerhouse if I wanted too.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I was mad I couldn't kill off anyone in the Thieves Guild. With this one Nord character that I've played as I had no intention of joining the Thieves Guild, so I hoped I could clear the quest from my journal by just wiping out the entire Guild... but no... can't do that.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Downloaded the Dragonborn DLC for PS3 and haven't ventured off into that world as of yet. Gonna finish the Companions Quest and Main Quest before I take the boat over there.Comment
