ME3 part airing right now.

Edit: It was hella short. Showed 30 seconds or so of new gameplay footage. No release date, just "this summer"

Also announced a firefight pack dlc for next tuesday that has new weapons for single player.

I hope they took their time with the SP DLC and did it in similar quality as the Shadow Broker and Arrival DLCs from ME2.

It sound interesting though, though not a surprise(there were apparently a few hints in the game files already)

Given how relatively small the crew was for ME3 and all those wide open but fully accessible areas on the Normandy that used to have crew in them in ME2, I hope they have at least two character DLCs at some point.

There's Omega DLC that has been hinted at so I guess that'll be next after this one. I wonder if they'll make Aria a temporary squadmate if they do actually do that one.

I've been playing ME2 for the past couple of days, and man it feels so much more polished and well thought out. I'm looking forward to more SP DLC in the future for ME3 though so hopefully they're worth it.

Really? I thought the ride in ME3 was better than ME2. It was the ending that was so puzzling because I felt I was on the edge of seat throughout the 3rd game. Not downing the 2nd game but I had no issues with 3 until the end. If anything, 3 gets the nod for me.

As far as DLC character, all for it. I want to go on a mission with Aria. That would be badass. I also want Miranda back on the ship!

3s ride was perfect up till the end for me. Ties almost everything and definitely feels end of days as it progresses.

I actually enjoyed the second game more. Between the DLC and characters, I must of put in over 50 hours. Don't get me wrong the 3rd game was great, but I liked the second one more. I missed Miranda in the third game.

Some WiiU footage and remote play at the end was looking quite good.

Yes, the fact they just put a love interest on the bench kind of sucked. I know Liara was on the bench kind of for the 2nd game but came back with a strong DLC. Plus she and Ashley were back for the 3rd game and it being the finale, Miranda should have been there as well. I hope (but doubt) we'll have a Miranda like DLC.

I actually felt that ME2 was the better game, in that the missions were more fun and it felt like such a leap from ME1. ME3 kind of felt like more of the same to me, and in some ways it was worse because it seems like for most of the game you only have 3-4 teammates to choose from. There is a serious lack of squad member options, and some of the more interesting characters don't even make their way back into your squad - neither Grunt nor Wrex? Jack (who is much more interesting in the 3rd game, IMO, not to mention having the coolest "look" by far of any characters)? No Miranda?

I felt like in 3, I just ended up taking Liara and Garrus on every mission, because none of the other characters were compelling enough (abilities/powers) to warrant taking them. And they still haven't figured out a way to make looking for hidden loot/treasures seem like less of a chore...

On the plus side, ME3 multiplayer is a lot more fun than I ever would have thought possible....

The limited romances always bugged me, as far as I know Liara is the only one that can be with you throughout the whole trilogy... and it didn't really have any significance in the overall story...

ME3's Tuchanka and Rannoch mission arks were 2 of the best in the entire series, IMO. 99% of ME3 was really good. just the ending that was a let down(compared to the rest of the series at least). the extended cut really didn't change that for me(finally replayed the ending with the DLC a couple days ago). it just seems they slapped some things together to "try" to clean things up.

just comparing the base game, I would put ME2 slightly ahead of ME3 right now. It was just a more polished game overall, IMO. If they would have put a little more time on ME3 to work out some of the issues before releasing it, it would have easily overtaken ME2 in my mind. will have to wait and see about DLCs as ME3 hasn't released any "real" single player DLC yet. ME2 had some really good ones though.

The new N7 infiltrator plays a lot like a phantom. You have pretty overpowering sword strike that is pretty cool. By far the most powerful character you can use in multiplayer.
