    Re: Mass Effect 3

A few questions for the experts on Mass Effect as I get close to the end of this.

What strength/ war zone ready does it need to be at before I do the final missions? I'm around 60-70% now I think.

So how much scanning do yall do on the planets? I've did very little and only found 8 things and most of it was just fuel.

I know the extended cut DLC came out and I have it downloaded how will that work exactly?

On the galaxy map the red cone things that arent main missions. Do I need explore all of them?

I agree with you, but instead of going the way they did I hoped they would have fleshed that part out.

I thought how ME3 handled it was perfect. No real management from your end, but still gave you the ability to get different weapons/upgrades. Thought it was a perfect medium between me1/me2.

I just I could look at the stats of the weapons before I purchased. Too many times I found myself wasting credits on guns I'll never use.

just started playing the leviathan dlc, while I haven't finish it completely yet, it definitely seems to be the quality of ME2 DLCs. structure of mission feels similar to Shadow Broker DLC from ME2.

                I'm going to download tonight.

Now to decide if I am going to go straight to the DLC or wait until I have the time for another playthrough.

I would recommend not doing the DLC mission early on in a new playthrough. If it's a new game plus, it shouldn't matter, but with a new character on a harder difficulty, it may be a bit hard. you end up facing all enemy types I believe.

although it's still doable. I did it as an Engineer on a new playthrough and did it right after the Palavan main mission(I think that is when the mission will become available at the earliest anyway). I died a couple of times on Hardcore, though I am a little rusty on the game as I haven't played in months.

I really enjoyed this DLC, I was surprised that they actually gave us information on the origins of the Reapers too, I didn't think that they would actually go as far into their history. Also, the mining station is the creepiest thing I've experienced in this series since Zhu's Hope.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

How long is the DLC? Is this the only planned DLC that we know of right now? Thinking of getting this and doing my 2nd playthrough at some point soon.

Thanks for the feedback on the DLC. I think I'll wait until I have time for a full playthrough until I start the DLC.

I would say it's longer than the Shadow Broker DLC from ME2. probably 4-5 hours unless you rush it. I really didn't time it, and it was with a character that had just recently started ME3, so I did a few other things in between the different "segments" of the DLC mission.

Anybody got any suggestions on good builds for an Adept Shepard?

I've done fine on Soldier, Vanguard and Engineer... but something about this Adept is just getting me down.

Also, does the increased ROF of a Revenant help push it over the line of the Mattock... for some reason the Mattock always becomes my go-to weapon.

If you're still trying to use a Revenant or a Mattock while running an Adept you're way off what you should be doing.

As an adept you want to power spam and need to hardly fire a shot. You want to carry low weight weapons in order to keep your cooldown rate closest to +200% as you can.

Learn how to set up and detonate Biotic Combos and you'll wreck the house. Warp/Throw combo is one of the best but Reave and Dark Channel also work for setups.

I bought this when it came out for PS3 but never really got into it. Repurchased it yesterday at Gamestop for $19.99 new and I already have the strategy guide. I'm gonna go hard and take it all in on my Xbox 360.

Do you guys recommend the dlc before I start?
