Im at the end of the game (2 missions left) with 3448 EMS.

If I play some online games and raise my readiness will I get the best ending?

The new "best ending" number is actually 3100. It was lowered when the extended cut came out.

If you're still trying to use a Revenant or a Mattock while running an Adept you're way off what you should be doing.

As an adept you want to power spam and need to hardly fire a shot. You want to carry low weight weapons in order to keep your cooldown rate closest to +200% as you can.

Learn how to set up and detonate Biotic Combos and you'll wreck the house. Warp/Throw combo is one of the best but Reave and Dark Channel also work for setups.

I feel so useless when I'm just spamming stuff, my recharge time is still good enough to pull of combos.

Never been into ME SMG's, but I guess I should rig one with an ultra light materials mod, and have a pistol, too, see how that works out.

It definitely a different style to get used to. The more/faster bio explosions you're getting off the more damage you're looking doing. Pair up with other biotic and your squad is unstoppable. Use manual control of your squads powers and use them to set up and you detonate.

Since I now have a 360, I decided to pick up ME 1, 2, & 3. I only finished ME 2 so it should be fun. I never even played ME 1, which I heard was very good.

Yep same here. I had bought (still not opened) ME3 from K-Mart when it first dropped to 19.99.
Even though I played and finished ME 1 and 2 I rebought them to play over. Currently in the middle of ME 1 (which is still my favorite)

I can never sell any of my ME games. I have the Collector's Edition for the last two but not the first which I wish I did.

I also have it for 2. I took my copy back in a few days ago as I wanted the original release case and was lucky that they had the collectors case one. So I swapped it out for that.

I really enjoyed this DLC, I was surprised that they actually gave us information on the origins of the Reapers too, I didn't think that they would actually go as far into their history. Also, the mining station is the creepiest thing I've experienced in this series since Zhu's Hope.

I agree. I played late at night and it was definitely creepy. The DLC also had some of the better scenery's of the ME Universe. There was a couple time I would just stop and look at scenery around me. Very nice.

Combat seemed like a filler at times though which was my only issue. Loved the deep story though as there was a lot of good info there.

Also did anyone buy the Firepack? I bought it last night. Some of the weapons are pretty badass and overpowering as well. You can take out Reaper troops in seconds with that AR/sniper rifle combo.

Without giving away any spoilers, does the new DLC make the origins of the Reapers sound less god-like as the original ending?

Because in there it looks like they were just... created by the Catalyst, which sounds like some sort of supreme god-like overlord, you know?
