Curious how that will pan out as well, considering they had to write a story using characters that may or may not be alive... Lol

Same. With so many different scenarios it's gonna get real interesting in the story. So many different variables. Really looking forward to it.

I'll probably end up having to youtube some of the scenarios that I wont get to see in my play-throughs just because I'm curious and like to know everything that could happen in this game. I remember I youtubed the ultimate fail ending in ME2 (how Shepard and all the crew die). Pretty funny stuff.

Well Miranda is dead in my ME2 save.

          So....that's that.

          Sigh.

Question, I really want to play ME3. I played the first one and finished it. SHould I get ME 2 and finish it first before getting ME3? Are they all connected story wise?

              Short answer: Yes.

              Long answer: Hell, yes.

Agreed. If you want the true Mass Effect 3 experience, you need to play ME2 and ME1, in my opinion. There's DLC (Genesis, I think) where you can make all the big choices from Mass Effect to your Mass Effect 2 game, but it's just not the same. You can't do all the little things, like:

                Spoiler

There's just some much to do in both ME and ME2. Skipping on them and going straight to 3 would take away from your experience. I need to get a couple of playthroughs done for ME3 myself. I deleted some of mine original saves from ME and ME2. Had no idea it would delete them from being able to be transferred.

Besides the pure enjoyment of replaying Mass Effect 2 is there any benefit to doing another play through with my Shepard from ME1? I want to create a renegade (prob female) Shepard to get a different game experience but prob don't have enough time to do both before ME3 drops.

I'm gonna try to do that anyway. Like a fool, I've neglected all this time to do a pure Paragon Fem!Shep (don't know why but all my previous Fem!Sheps were renegades, maybe cuz I like hearing Jennifer Hale's voice when she's angry....guess I'm just weird like that).

Also, since I know how to get all the endings, I haven't mixed anything up yet. So once I polish off this Paragon run, I'm gonna go for a realistic agent mode, where stopping the Collectors goes before anything. I'll do as many non-loyalty missions as I can until..."The Event" happens on the Normandy, then I go finish the game and see which crew members survive.

Anyone see the result of the first two copies of Mass Effect 3 launched into space?

Apparently, onene ends up in a Redwood, and the other ended up on a cliff. Total failure. Didn't expect anything less, though. Was a terrible idea from the start.

Speaking of Miranda, I am interested how they're going to resolve the love triangle with Ashley/Liara and Miranda, considering Miranda isn't supposed to be a perma-squad member in ME3.

I am really enjoying the multiplayer demo. The different classes add what will be some good replay value I believe. I'd say sniping is a little to easy but other than that it's been a blast. Played this more than any demo I can remember. I would buy it if there was no multiplayer but this is a great cherry on top of an already great sundae.
