If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
Re: Mass Effect 3
People are fans of her character, what's the problem with that? They've done a hell of a job with her in the ME universe, so yeah, she's gonna be a popular character.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
Yeah, not sure why hating on people that like Tali. Mystery is intriguing plus her character is very solid. I've used her in my party a lot in ME1, not so much for ME2 and didn't romance her for my main characters. I like the character though.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
I like Tali because she's the complete opposite of what you'd expect. I thought by the end of ME1 I knew all about her situation, but ME2 was wayyy more in detail with her plight and her story. Ashley...is just a human and Miranda is a genetically enhanced human. We don't even see Tali's face.
plus, the hips dude...And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: Mass Effect 3
You must not read the Bioware forums, it has gone beyond just being a fan of the character with her. The only other character who comes close is Garrus and that's still not to the level of Tali.Last edited by jmood88; 06-08-2011, 06:53 AM.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: Mass Effect 3
Really, you can get the same experience reading the boards here on almost every sports title/series. If you read the Bug/Glitch threads on any game you will be absolutely convinced the game is a bug ridden mess when you probably won't run into 90% of them during your time playing...and the ones you do you probably won't even noticed half the time. Then you have to read through all kinds of threads from some dork saying the game is "broken" or "unplayable" and it will "collect dust until they fix it," or they are "selling it back to Gamestop, but only paid $5 dollars for it in the first place so they are making money back."
As for Tali, I don't understand the fascination with her either. I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to know what I'm ****ing. She could be a complete butter face for all I know. Does that make me shallow? No, it makes Commander Shephard shallowPlus, it's nice to know with Miranda or Ashley that at least our parts will match. What if Tali has a dangler between her legs? Awwwkwaaaard

Re: Mass Effect 3
I would reccommend it. I am playing through ME1 right now, for a second time this month and have ME2 on deck and am enjoying them a lot. They have been on my to play list for awhile and I am not a big RPG fan, but would highly urge you to at least try them.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
In some respects, though, she's no different than most "nerdy female" characters in entertainment today. She's not supposed to be conventionally attractive or held to any particular "feminine" standard of behavior, but she gets her fair share of attention regardless, and it's usually by those with (dare I say) equally unconventional intentions.
...but not us normal ME gamers, though. Noooo...we just think she's a nice girl who just needs to show her face more often. :POwner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

Go to around 18:00 for Mass Effect coverage. That video shows some of the weapon customization, menus, different environments, Tali for a second, and an interview with Casey Hudson.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: Mass Effect 3
I gave to ask. At what point does the attention become sad, disturbing or ridiculous? Is it because she's looked at sexually? It's a game, targeted towards primarily 18-34 year old males, if course she'll be looked at sexually. Is it certain people only talking about her, or turning every conversation into how great a character she is or is because it seems like everybody seems to like her so much?
Tali is definitely one of my favorite characters, but I'd hate for someone to think I'm obsessed with her just because of that fact.
@CarrTheWeight, why should Tali not be seen as a sex object? I mean, I know her character is simply a collection of ones and twos, but she's drawn in a way that would attract people. Is it different for Miranda, Ashley or Liara (cuz seriously, who would bang Jack?)?Last edited by trobinson97; 06-08-2011, 04:25 PM.PS: You guys are great.
