Re: Mass Effect 3
I'm not even as mad about the ending as I am about the last major battle.
SpoilerI spent 25 MINUTES TAKING WAVE AFTER WAVE of Bansees, Marauders and Brutes, when all I had to do was just cloak myself and run up to the control panel. I mean, I was SURROUNDED by Marauders when I activated it. Then it just jumped to a cutscene and bam, none. None more Banshees.

Re: Mass Effect 3
you first learn about the Asari life span from Liara in ME1 when she tells you she has been studying the Protheans for over 50 years and that no one takes her seriously because she is so young. you have a dialogue choice of 50 years?, then she tells you Asari can live up to/over 1,000 years and that she was only 106(then Ashley mentions that she wishes she could look that good at 100). I think Wrex mentions Krogans can live similar length as some point in ME1 as well, although I don't think he ever mentions his age. Mordin explains Salarian lifespan in ME2. It's probably mentioned in the codex as well.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
Just finished. Didn't really have a problem with the ending. More would have been cool though.
It's not the ending, it's the journey. It was one hell of a ride.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

Re: Mass Effect 3
Also, out of all the video games I've played, the Scorpion V is my favorite weapon, ever. And the Falcon is not far behind. Facing an Atlas? Unload a clip and then use squad powers? Brutes just require 2 clips and squad powers.

Re: Mass Effect 3
SpoilerWell, all you'd really miss is the Shepard breathing ending scene. Everything else can be unlocked without MP.
Or just go through again with the lowest EMS possible. This way all the galaxy's military fleets won't be stranded in Earth space. It actually leaves the universe in a better place if you do less.SpoilerPretty big difference between Shepard dying and not.
People keep saying that but there's other planets in this solar system they can hang out on.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
haven't tried either the Scorpion or Falcon. I stuck with the weapon I started out with mostly(N7 weapons, since I had that pack), but mostly because as a Sentinel, I never used the guns much(ended with Mattock and Hurricane, never ran out of ammo at any point in the game for any gun). I'll have to check them out. my current run is with an Infiltrator. currently using the N7 Valiant with N7 Hurricane SMG as a back-up if needed. 3 shot clip with decent power. usually 1 shot and 1 Incinerate kills most smaller enemies(headshots gets instant kills a lot though). While the Mantis is more powerful, the extra bullets allows you to make mistakes and not have to wait to reload.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
yeah, Asari have long live span, as do Krogans. Salarians have short life spans(about 40 years). not sure about rest of species, those are the ones I remember from the games.

Mass Effect 3 Ending Fighter Goes To The FTC
A fan who wants to see the ending of Mass Effect 3 changed has taken his complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, the agency created to protect consumers.
His argument is that Bioware did not deliver on the promise of its game saying, "after reading through the list of promises about the ending of the game they made in their advertising campaign and PR interviews, it was clear that the product we got did not live up to any of those claims."
He continues by inviting others to file complaints against Electronic Arts with the FTC if they share his sentiments.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

And that player is actually wasting a LOT of ammo. It actually functions as stick grenades, so you can tag the actual body, and take cover waiting for it to explode. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU
