Will be picking this up for sure. May not look as good as the PC version, but it still looks fantastic to me.

I can't believe I waited until now to start getting into this game. I've probably poured 15 hours in it this weekend, at the final part in Act 2.

It's bar none the best looking game I've ever played, and the story and voice acting are both excellent. Loving the combat also, and how you occasionally have to research certain types of enemies by reading books on them to learn their weaknesses. It's up there with Dark Souls in terms of good combat systems using a sword. It's really everything DA2 should have been.

Witcher and Witcher 2 have been my favorite RPG's since Baldur's Gate 2. The first Witcher took me totally by surprise by how good it was.

Just finished it now. The endgame wraps up fairly quickly, but what an awesome experience. I can't really complain about anything in the game. Boss fights can get tough, but once you get a strategy down and fight defensively they're very manageable.

Maybe its the bad taste left by the glitches and broken quests after 70+ hours of Skyrim, but I feel like I would rather run through another playthrough of the Witcher and see what the other choices lead to rather than creating another character in Skyrim.

Skyrim has the great open world and everything, but I can comfortably say that Witcher's story, characters, combat and graphics are superior. Both are probably among the best RPG's released in the last decade.

What a great game, I have a feeling when it hits the 360 it will become very popular. Great graphics, gameplay and story especially after the 2.0 update. I alternate between this, skyrim and mass effect 2, to think, I used to hate RPGs. It's hard to believe that this is a DX9 game the graphics are some of the best I've seen, it should translate well to consoles.

I agree wholeheartedly. It is a shorter experience than Skyrim, but I think it beats it hands down.

I just can't believe this game isn't getting more attention.

If you are just getting into RPG's, I highly recommend you check out the following games (unless graphics are a hang up for you):

                    1. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 (personally the greatest RPG's I have played)
                    2. Fallout 1 and 2 (pre Bethesda)
                    3. Planescape Torment

All great RPG's and to me that time period was the pinnacle of RPG gaming

There are mods that allow high resolution and widescreen support that work brilliantly.

Thanks, I've heard nothing but great things about Baldur's Gate, I may have to check it out. I'll be the first to admit that I am a graphics whore but as long as the story is engrossing and my decisions matter, I can deal.

The story and character interaction are where they excel at the most. Nothing like having one of party members arguing with another because they don't like them.

The combat is turn based and plan and go mixed in, so you do have to pause and reissue commands as the battle changes, so there is a little micromanaging involved, especially on boss type battles.

Dragons are truly epic in the game and if you don't use exploits taking one out without losing a party member or having your whole party wiped is an accomplishment.

Just got a new 360 today (my old one actually started smoking from the back! LOL), and the first game I pre-ordered was The Witcher 2. I loved this game on the PC, but my computer was never QUITE powerful enough to run it correctly.

This game looks great for sure and I'm quite shocked at how good it looks.
