Lag compensation doesn't disadvantage bad connections.

I can say, lag compensation is real. I had a really fast internet connection, switched to save some money and all of a sudden the game is completely different. I was like a 1.58 KD, and now I'm always over a 2.

Connection has always been the most important thing in Call of Duty games. Two players with the same skill get in a 1v1 battle and whoever has the best connection is going to win, 100% of the time. Until they decide to incorporate dedicated servers, it won't change.

I won't say it's not real, but I definitely have only experienced it a handful of times. Not enough to say the game is broke. Like I said, I've been on either 3 or 4 bar from the start.

They do need dedicated servers though. The fact that there isn't any, is ridiculous.

How many kills for the moab? Because I started a match 28-0 an didn't get it....

Has to be 25 kills in a row, with ONLY your gun. No kills by kill streaks or equipment.

I just got M.O.A.B'd, and I had no idea what was going on. A timer just went down, and then boom we were all dead, and the for the rest of the game everything was all red.

Yea, the MOAB wipes out your team, and disables the use of any killstreaks or radars for the rest of the game.

Hackers on the PC tend to get it then leave the game... I had two times where on interstate some dude was getting like 3-4 moabs because of hacking, but my team still won the match. It was pretty funny...

To add if you use the specialist killstreaks (the one that awards perks) you can also use the Moab.

To add my winning percentage is down because of 2 things:
1. Joining games where it's almost over and/or joining games where the other team is dominating the choke points of maps already.

2. If I get into a game that people are using Strikers, AA-12s or Type 95 I usually switch to my type 95 and wreck. If I start to get mad I just quit. Yes you get a lose but you also save the aggravation of not enjoying yourself. Just not worth it.

This has been a problem in COD for as long as I can remember. I hate joining a game and the first thing I hear is the sound of an enemy AC-130. Or joining a game right when it ends and I'm on the losing team with 0 kills 0 deaths and 0 assists.

The prestige calculator works, you have to go into it and set it yourself like hours you plan on playing, if you're going to use any double XP, and what level you want to get to. Once you do that it will do what it's supposed to do.

The calculator to me is off and here is why. The image im displaying shows that Iam at prestige 7 level 47. It states it will take me 2 months to get to prestige 8 from this point. I will be prestige 8 by Saturday.

Now I play close to 3 hrs a day, and then on Saturday I go longer, so in the calculator I put that I play 6 hrs a day, and this was the result.

I purchased the game on release day ,which was the 8th of Nov. Jan 8th would make 2 months, and I will be 8th prestige by then. To me this calculator is way off.

I think what throws it off is that it just takes into account the time you play, but it cant determine the amount of kills or objectives you fufill with in that time.

Im listing my last 13 matches of games I played excluding Search and Destroy. The list would be 20, but I wanted game modes that involved more activity.

I'm not putting this up to argue. It is not necessary to argue, and my apologies to any I offended during the whole debate on skills vs connection yesterday. I putting this up because I feel there are many skilled players on MW and the only thing that really separates the skilled players from each other is the connection.

I want a mature outlook and discussion on this, so if anyone feels they want to make a comment about this. Please do in a mature manner, and not come out by saying this is BS or a excuse that someone want s to make for their poor play. When that is far from the truth.

This is what transpired with me and my boys that I pay online with.

90 - 54 Victory I went 17-7
90 - 39 Victory I went 23-4

200-162 Victory I went 22-19

Out of those 13 games, only two of them were somewhat close. The other 11 were lopsided victories.

The games we played had high prestige players on the other side, so it was not a case of playing noobs.

This happens most of the time with us, and the only time we will struggle is when we are on the wrong side of the connection.

The side where you don't even have a chance to lift your gun, meanwhile the guy just showed up on your screen. 1 bullet takes you down, but the kill cam says other wise.

My point is that I'm not going to say that we are GREAT players. I feel there are many great players online, but what separates us unfortunately is how the connection is distributed in MW3.

I strongly feel if we were all setup in the same room with the same exact setup as far of connection goes. That these game would be allot closer and competitive.
