So I played my first call of duty game last night as I got this when I bought my new ps3 bundle. I was going to trade it in to walmart for 60$ credit but my girlfriends son was chomping at the bit to play it so you know how that goes. Even though I had never played it I knew I would enjoy it my only concern was im not really into online play except for co-op. I know the SP is short so that was a concern of mine. Blame kids this days 8 year olds just dominating me in this game lol

Popped in this game tonight for the first time in months, played two games.

I took the game out of my Xbox and I shall never put it in again.

Starting to feel the same way, the only weapons used are Akimbos, SMGs, and Shotguns. And the spawns are still terrible, I was in a 3vs3 faceoff match and the spawns were so bad the ppl I killed spawn two feet away from me so they could just kill me the second they spawned.

I feel the same way the game is absolute trash. Actually it's not even fit for the trash it should be burned and consumed in the depths of hell. I feel better now.

lol thats funny, and your right. I now play tis game about once every two weeks now. Its the only COD game that I have done this with.

Now its not because im having a hard time. Thats not it at all. Me and my boys dominate in this game. Its just this game is too silly, and the majority run around with the same setup, and the game is so vanilla now.

Im glad this has happened to me anyway. I was spending too much time on MP games, and there are so many good SP games out there. Now im getting in my time with all these good SP games.

What really surprised me was seeing this thread pop up again. I thought for sure it was dead

MW3 is a complete and utter fail. I feel like such an idiot for paying for Elite.... I can play Black Ops no problem, but MW3 is just bad. Same silenced ACR + Assassin users over and over again. Same guns over and over again. Same perks, over and over again. At least Black Ops had some variety.

I've gone back to Black Ops. It's user base has held up quite well. I really missed those maps too.

I quit playing Mw3 months ago, maybe back in March? Either way I'm glad I never signed up for Elite.

Everyone either uses the MP7, ACR, or a Shotgun on tighter maps. The lag, and unfair deaths due to lag compensation.. when you thought you had a good connection but really the game still punished you were quite frustrating. Also the maps I felt were pretty lack luster, (didn't get any of the DLC maps so can't comment on those) but with the launch maps there were never any maps that I would really look forward to playing on. Back in MW2 I would get excited to play on Favela, Highrise, Afghan, Invasion. Never got that feeling with any of the MW3 maps...

Yes many feel the same way you do about the maps.

I will play Black Ops and MW2 when I feel the need to get a fix for online play. MW3 is all about lag comp, and you guys are right. Seeing the same setups over and over again is a joke and boring. Duel FMG's anyone.

Its crazy when you sign onto Black Ops and see how many people have ditched MW3 and went back to it.

Yeah by this time in their lifespans past COD's have dropped to like 40-50K in users. Black Ops has that many in just TDM alone.

I dislike MW3 but I dont have a problem with playing it. Are you guys bad at it or something? My kill death ratio is like 1.87. I dont know what lag compensation is.

It has noting to do with being bad at the game or not. I have mutiple friends with a KD over 2.5 and some higher than 3, and they dont play the game anymore also.

Im the one in the bottom with a 1.7. It just all the nonense that is in this game that fustrates people.

Lag compensation is the game compensating internet speeds. Slowing some down and placing them a good second to 1.5 seconds behind others in the match. To help those with a bad connection, but it weird how it decides.

You can find some good videos on it on you tube. With video demonstrations on how bad it is for those that are placed behind in time.

So you think it is definitely worth getting? I can get it for about 25ish bucks, and how many people do you think there are playing on it? I play MW2 still a lot and there are always enough people for games, so just making sure they're enough people to play.

Yeah I'd say it's worth it. I have no trouble finding good matches and I play on the PS3 where the user base is probably a bit smaller than on the 360.
