Re: Modern Warfare 3 PS3/360
Yeah my WaW time would be much higher if it counted Zombie mode time too. I played the **** out of it. Never really touched Spec Ops or them Black Ops zombie modes though.Comment

Re: Modern Warfare 3 PS3/360
I'm a socom guy so not that excited about this game but one thing i can say is it looks like it will bring on more gunfights than BF3
If only they would get rid of the killstreaks this game would probably be goldSLIDERS SUCKComment

Also I found it interesting while browsing some other threads, that you are not smart if you buy MW3. I didn't know we judged intelligence on video game purchases.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: Modern Warfare 3 PS3/360
The big argument is that MW3 doesn't focus on K/D ratio. Sure.
Let's be honest, that stat is a big deal for anyone who takes FPS seriously. It has been the case since Rainbow Six, which was an incredible game.
Seriously..when people die they go to a lobby and you can't hear their voices? To me, that was still the best thing ever and I miss it.
I am not into driving cars and planes around. I want gun battles and 60 FPS, thank you very much.Comment

Re: Modern Warfare 3 PS3/360
The strike packages will keep things interesting. I like the support package idea myself as i was never able to those high kill counts. And having the points not resetting after a death is definitely a plus.
Not sure if anyone saw this yet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l6FA...&feature=feedu
Game still looks good.Comment

Re: Modern Warfare 3 PS3/360
I like MW3, because as cliche as it sounds, I can pick it up and be remotely good at it right away. I Load it up, kill a few people and get off. This series has provided me with that. A lot of people ridicule this game for being able to win by "lonewolfing", but now that the competitor has TDM, you can bet that "lonewolfing" will exist in that game as well. Both games are good in their own right, so there's no need to berate the fanbases of each series.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Re: Modern Warfare 3 PS3/360
I am moderately excited for MW3. I only say 'moderately' because of how many games are coming out over the next month and how tight my wallet is, so that's underwhelming for me!
I did consider Battlefield... for a brief second. I didn't like the last one, but the beautiful graphics just *almost* reeled me in, then I played the demo and hated it. Now, I know it's premature to really 'hate' a game based off of a demo, but I just didn't care for it. No disrespect to the game or the series, because it obviously has a fan base in its own regard, but I can't help but to select MW3 between the two.
I like the COD: MW series because of all the good times I've had with friends. Especially Modern Warfare 2. Good lawd... back in November and December 2009, we played it as much as possible, having every conversation in the world while playing it. Good times. That reason alone is the selling point for MW3 for me (more good times in the future with friends. Hey, wasn't the old Xbox Live slogan, "It's Good To Play Together"?).Comment
