Depends on what type of player you are. Do you prefer being a team player ? Talking on the mic communicating with your team ?

IF YES, BF3 is for you.

If you like racking up kills and don't care about your team nor talking on the mic, then MW3 is for you.

Either way, you not going to find a shortage of people online in either game. Both of those franchises have a HUGE online community.

It's not that cut and dry. You can be a team player on COD, you can also rack up kills and not care about your team on Battlefield. Like Authentic pointed out, talking on the mic in BF3 is not good.

It's not that cut and dry. You can be a team player on COD, you can also rack up kills and not care about your team on Battlefield. Like Authentic pointed out, talking on the mic in BF3 is not good.

I havent played BF3 or any of the other one's but I know me and my friends play search and destroy all the time and the other team objective games and when we play teams that arent as team based we win more than lose. Not saying BF# isnt but COD can be played as a team too

Yeah, it seems a lot of people think COD is only about rambo type players running around and racking up kills. There are just as many players who play in teams on COD as any other FPS, if not more. COD is actually one of the easiest FPS I've played to set up a clan and communicate by mic, which improves the team aspect of the game.

Yea and it also gives you that mix of if you wanna be the rambo type you can.. It is great for those that like to camp and u catch them off guard.

Plus I like the variety in play styles COD gives cuz some teams all like to rush while some have like 2 rushers and some move along together with each other.

And I'm sure BF hasn't found a way to stop people from camping

Ummm yea I don't see myself paying this much for a game either. The only people that would buy this game for that much even 4 days before release is people with lots of money or with no sense what so ever. Plain and Simple. I already put down 100$ for the Hardened Edition. That is far as I will go when it goes to paying for a game. 200$ is just plain stupid to be honest.

If your on the verge go play and othe CoD. They all play basically the same.

If you have great reflexes and stick skills you will like CoD.

If your a little slower and like other stuff to do in a game other than killing go with BF3.

Team work is involved in both ganes however BF is dependent on it while CoD you can be successful without it.

They both got their unique shooter experiences.


I always say I'm not getting anymore CoD but always get dragged into them. I found out the G36C is in this game and that is my all time favorite weapon. The only other CoD it was in I played the most so that encourages me.

The things that scare me are the gun perk system, knifing(which has been terrible in all the CoD series), and Quick Scoping.

I'm hoping my G36C and Shotguns can help me through the situations.

Quick scoping blows. There isn't a person on this earth that can scope in and fire all in under a second and be remotely accurate. Hopefully, they remove this ability because it's ridiculous.

So long as this is MW2 without the lame noob tubes, boosting, and whatever other annoying issues were in MW2, I will get it.

If not, then....I don't know . Even with all those lame issues, I still put in a good 20-30 hours in MW2.

It's still in sad to say. After playing more last night I have to retract my statement about hit detection. It's still bad at times.

Love the MP but its still COD with fresh maps.

Guys now remember I haven't seen a lot of things on MP due to everyones rank is so low right now. Servers just came back up for me last night. A lot more people have the game though
