Once again.. And???? Is there a limit to how many negative posts there can be? How many positives? If we reach the limit on both do we shut the thread down?
Like I said I want to know the good and bad.

Did I say there should be a limit? Did I say no negative post or all positive posts and vice versa? No..

Learn how to be less anal about everything Because I take everyone's opinion on the game with a grain of salt. If I like it I like it if I don't I don't. But I wont know that until I have it. Because what someone else thinks is a problem other people could not be having at all.

Battlefield is more cerebral. You really need to take your time and strategize properly as opposed to running around like a chicken with your head cut off.

Battlefield also rewards teamwork as opposed to high kill counts. You'll also find far less glitchers/hackers and general douchebaggery in Battlefield.

COD is a faster paced game that generally relies on high kill counts to be successful, so it depends on your play style as to which you prefer.

As for myself, I don't find myself wanting to rip my hair out while playing Battlefield as I do COD, although they offer a better single player experience if that's what you're into.

I agree with this assessment along with the fact it takes a substantial amount of time to complete one game in BF3 compared to MW3.

Anyways, I went this morning to pick up my copy (because I'm not about to wait outside at midnight having to go to work in the morning). Went to one Gamestop near a Walmart and there was 50+ people waiting at 9:45am...I went to the other Gamestop which is literally a rock throw away in a little crevice and there were only 3 people waiting outisde.

I've seen some of the negative feedback but COD is always a rewarding / frustrating game...I'm getting mainly for the Spec OPS and Survival modes as I feel my brother-in-law and I can have some monster times in those modes alone. Spec Ops >>>> Zombies.

Guys, this game is good. Right now it's frustrating because of the ridiculous amount of campers. The hit detection is a little off, probably because there are so many people online and the connections can't be perfect. Graphics look much improved, guns are way better, and the game is simply stunning.

Positives:

Fresh game
Great visuals
Smooth gameplay
Great guns and perk system
Only one disconnection all night
Noobtubes are toned down extremely, huge plus

Negatives:

Party system didn't work sometimes
Had problems finding games
Hit detection was shady
Huge amount of campers (not a game issue, just people being lame)
Knife system is very very shady...sometimes you just don't knife a guy even if your right next to him, where one time I got knifed from about 10 feet away from a guy using riot shield

The party sysyem and find games will improve in the weeks to come. That's has always been that way with COD games. Hit detection seems to better then it was on Black ops aleast. Campers are just as bad or even worse on BF3 then on MW3. So complaints here. Over some of the issues can and will be improve. But campers you will have to fix yourself. LOL

How is Kill Confirmed? That looks like the game mode I will play most of the time.

I think it forces more close combat in order to grab the tags after you have killed someone, but that isnt a bad thing imo. You wont get too many kill confirms by sitting back and sniping.

I only played KC last night. I hate campers and this mode forces the issue of gun on gun gameplay. IMO best mode they put in this year.


Anyone get the Elite website to work on the cpu? I can't get it to load.

The maps are smaller than a football field. Literally can run from one side of a map to the other in less than 30 secs. Game seems like the maps are even smaller than nuketown from black ops. Literally less than half the size of normal CoD maps.

There's no way you've experienced all 16 maps already. You don't get that lucky.

It doesn't take 500 hours of gameplay to know the maps are poorly designed and that increasing the bullet damage was a horrid idea.

Granted, I haven't played it yet, but how is increased bulled damage a bad idea? You obviously can either get kills or be killed faster. Try not to get killed lol
