Been using the G36C, and worked it up to get the Silencer + Red Dot.. and have been using it in Search & Destroy to great success. S&D is one of my all time favorite game modes that the COD series brings... Finally unlocked the Dead Silence perk and that has helped greatly. You really get the freedom to move around more, in a quiet game mode such as Search with that one perk.

Kind of peeved that you almost have to use Assassin in Search now because of the return of the dreaded "Heartbeat Sensor"... so many people are using it now in Search that you're at a huge disadvantage if you pop up in it.

Hate this thing with a passion. Especially the quick scopers who have been using it.

The best counter to that without assassin is a good headset. In S&D I can hear people from miles away with my Tritton AX720's, they've saved me plenty of times. After you use them for a couple weeks, you can really echo-locate things and catch people off guard when you turn on them really quickly just based off of how much noise they make. I've even managed to get a kill on a couple guys using a silencer about a quarter of the map over, headsets are the real deal.

Bought Call of Duty Elite tonight and the site actually was up for about an hour.. It's REALLY good, the stats are really in-depth and all of the features actually work. I put together a few classes on my computer and then when I went on the game it gave me a message to confirm the changes then they set by themselves, it was pretty cool. I really only paid for the 1-year subscription for the map packs.

Also, for anyone on the fence about it, today is the last day you can get founder status. What that means is you get all of the really nice features of premium Elite with some in-game add-on's. You get two titles, two emblems, a new camo called winter, and 2 hours of double XP. I actually think the double XP is for free and paid Elite, but you can only get it if you download to Elite app and you manage to sign in which can be hit or miss. It's helping me out a lot right now because I'm rank 77 and I'm trying to prestige tonight/this morning.

The Founder status was extended till the 30th of November. Elite was having problems (and still is for that matter) switching people over the founder status. I and many people have yet to get the camo, emblem, title, etc that comes with being a founder.

Survival Mode Versus Zombies- Anyone else finding Survival mode more addicting than zombies? My wife and I loved the zombies mode from Treyarch games, however we cannot put down this new mode. It has that "Just one more time" effect.

That's pretty awesome. I was only able to sign on at like 4AM when the servers weren't nearly as packed, good luck to you on getting your stuff.

Personally, I love the map Dome. When we have so many cookie-cutter maps like Hardhat, I appreciate that Dome is a nice and small one where I won't be running around everywhere trying to find somebody (I run into that problem in Outpost often). Interchange isn't bad either, even though I don't see it pop up very often.

The size. It doesn't feel like a shoebox like so many of the other maps.

The fact that the layout is not nearly as random as other maps. I can navigate it freely without people popping up and shooting me in the back every 10 seconds.

It actually has some nice choke points that lead to hotspots. Which makes flanking easier. Many of the maps have too many routes and not enough choke points which leads to people just running around in circles for 8-10 minutes.

Snow. Snow levels is COO.

Interchange isn't bad either, even though I don't see it pop up very often.

Interchange has really grown on me. It has some nice long open sightlines.

For me it seems to come up all the time.

Never understood how people can get enjoyment from cheating in the game, SMH. Last night was like a freaking mod-fest or something.

Getting knifed through walls, shot through walls by people all the way on the other side of the map. These weird named clans get on my nerves.....LOL

For anyone who's getting that weird delay of lag even if you have a good connection. Try turning off theater mode and then play, I've been hearing that theater modes been causing some lag for people in the hit department.

Thank you for this post, I've been hating the game since launch because I've been playing with a 1 second delay this entire time. This could also explain why I always felt a delay in black ops, I wish they gave you the same option.

My most hated map by far is Arkaden. All others I just can't stand. As mentioned earlier, every 10 seconds you're getting shot in the back. It gets old.

It's really pathetic that Theater Mode causes lag. One of the main reasons I got this game was the Theater Mode. And Elite, is more like NBA Elite 11.
