Black Ops was made by Treyarch, not IW, and most patches that have come out have done little to nothing in terms of fixing glaring issues. So no, I'm not kidding...

IW didn't do the multiplayer on this one. It's Sledgehammer. And the last 4 call of duty games I've played have all received significant fixes in patches.

MW2 patches and support was a joke. If it wasn't me playing Halo 2 I would say it would of been the glitchiest game I have ever played.

The glitches in that game within the 1st 4 months were hilarious.

I remember this so clealry. It blew my mind at the time. In the map Quarry I ran to the are where the A flag was in domination, and when I turned that corner there was about 50 care pacakges scattered all over the place. It was freaken insane. Man was I LMAO when I saw that.

Then there was the javelin glitch. WHere if you shot him he would explode and kill everyone around him.

I do admit they did remove the glitches, but ingnored the crys to remove or fix the one man army perk and commando perk.

I jumped into a quick Ground War game today, to partake in the most one sided beatdown I've ever witnessed. Unfortunately I was on the receiving end. Half their team was was 5th prestige or higher, and 3 of them were 10th prestige. There were like 4 guys with over 40 kills on their team, and were using all their kill streaks all at once.

I happened to join right in the middle of this, so my first five deaths were via enemy kill streaks. Before I joined, the area had been already been M.O.A.B'd, so I knew it was going to be ugly. It was like a scene from the apocalypse, it was tinted red and **** was blowing up everywhere. I was barely able to even find an enemy, and even when I did I was dead before I knew what happened.

And honestly I'm not sure how they enjoy the killing spree that they go on. Unless it's a little kid or something. I don't understand the fun in dropping bombs on people for the whole match.

MW3 will follow the same fate in support, there are glaring holes in weapon balancing, spawn system, and even how connections should be handled (lag compensation). There's little to no chance they'll get touched or fixed in a way that reflects a good effort.

Also the game is just to quick and spastic it's pray and spray and whoever is quicker around the corner. I loved COD 3,4 & WAW but the series has declined over the years. It basically pac-man with guns running around a maze. Their bascially mailing it in with no real effort at making a quality game anymore.

you realize that what prestige someone is, does not mean they are good..just means they play alot...i crap on kids all day who have higher prestiges then me...its really all about how you play...if your gonna run with a team who all run support then, you have a better shot of winning then a team who doesnt..the support package is stupid, just gives bad kids a chance to go positive..

my problem with the game is that there is no penalty if you quit during mid game...and getting a lose for quitting is not what i mean..i mean if you quit, you should lose like 1000XP or something...and on the flip side, you should get major rewarded if you get the other team to forfeit...(when everyone quits out on the other team, not sure if i explained that well sorry) like 10,000XP...just my opinion tho

Pretty interesting today, played with the 207th ranked kid in KC on all of PSN. All 4 games I did better. Im ranked like 24000 or something. Just another case of he has played more.

Just want to note not all tenth prestige players are there because they played more, sometimes it does mean that they are real good.

I know tenth prestige players who played the same amount of time as me till this day, and made tenth prestige in mid December. I made tenth prestige just yesterday. Their KD is over 3, and mine is 1.68. They received over 30 MOAB's, and I have 1 . They are just really good players. Right now in our crew we have 6 tenth prestige players, and they are all very good players, and it had nothing to do with them playing more. I was the slow poke of the crew lol.

In some cases yes some played more , but that is not the case for every tenth prestige.

Again this is false, being tenth prestige does not mean that they played more.

I know plenty of tenth prestige players that got there in mid December as I stated above, and are great MW3 players. Anyone in here would love to play with them.

On your other subject on penalizing a player who quits. This cannot be done. Simply because not everyone rage quits, and since there are other reasons why someone leaves a lobby a penalty cannot be given.

Their power went out, or the baby hit the disc tray, a emergency. There are many reasons why someone had to leave the game unexpectedly, and since this scenarios do exist. A penalty would not be fair to them. This is why they cannot implement a penalty.

Everything you mention here is right on, and I hope you are wrong that they won't fix it, but the unfortunate truth is that your right.

They won't adjust the firing rate and range on shotguns, they won't correct the lag compensation correctly. They won't remove weapon proficiencies. They won't fix the kill streaks like removing the stealth bomber from support and placing it under the assault class.

I'm sure we can go on and on. The game is both fun and frustrating at the same time. I just wish they really paid attention to what they are doing and realize if it makes sense or not.

I've tried to play non barebones the last few days and I just can't do it. Killstreaks kill it for me. I wish there were more modes without killstreaks.

What perks can I use so I am not noticed so bombs and choppers from the sky don't rain down on me.

What do you guys think is the best gun in the game and what set ups?

Perk 1 blind eye pro

perk 2 assasin pro

perk 3 either sit rep pro or dead silence pro

imo the best gun is the acr for assault rifles and mp7 for smgs.

acr with 2 attachments silencer and extended mags usually works well.

This setup will keep you from being killed by air support and off of radars. ( unless some random greenie decides to follow you around shooting loud )
