Once again Call of Duty in general F over all the Hardcore players and cater to all the core players. If you going to drop new maps at least make deathmatch and KC for both HC TDM amd Core TDM

For the guys with the new maps...which current maps do you compare them closest to?

In terms of layout.

And can you tell us if there are alot of buildings in both maps?

Only got to play one of the DLC maps so far. The open one in the park. I used my go to class with the AS50 and went 22-7. Very open map, got to watch your approach to different areas. Much different pace then the other maps that shipped which is a good thing.

Only problem is the way they got the map situation set up for gametypes. They got a special area called Elite and it has Elite TDM, Elite KC, Elite Dom, Elite Search, Elite Objectives and Elite HC Ricochet Mosh Pit. It has every map including the new ones instead of just the new maps. Also there no Elite Barebones so Im not going to be able to play the maps to much either.....

Halo did it the best, when a map pack released they had a special playlist that included only the new maps and thats all.

They haven't released a mappack yet though. Just the 2 maps. When they do the full release there will be only new map playlists like MW2 right?

make sure your not in the xbox live section of mw3 while downloading the maps? ( make sure your at the dashboard) hope this helps

I think they are the best 2 maps in the game by far. Big, layered, and have a lot of points to them. Shame that the playlists they are included in sucks, but it does make sense, as a bunch of 360 players dont' have the maps yet either. Once the bundle comes out in March, then they can go public.

Yeah, the maps are great, but the playlist are really weak. I don't understand why they did it like this.

Why a all time low? A MOAB doesnt guarantee victory. It just kills the opposing team one time , and it happens all at once, and then they spawn right back.

MOAB is weak and really does nothing to lock down the victory.

It also prevents the other team from using any killstreaks for the rest of the match other than the Specialist ones.

BTW after playing the maps some more here are my thoughts:

Liberation: This map is probably one of my favorites for the moment. Plenty of Line of Sight areas as well as multiple ways to get to each part of the map. Very fun for me.

Piazza: Easily my most hated map right now. Really close quarters everywhere. Strikers and Akimbos run wild as well. Really bad map for the OP guns like the Stiker and FMG's.

I hate the playlists for the maps. I wish we had seperate playlists for the new maps. It took me almost an hour before Liberation popped up. I played Piazza three times in that same span.

but only put moshpit in the playlist for Hardcore mode just pissed me off. I got the maps and played them for like 20 mins and went back to playing the old maps in HC KC for the rest of the night. They could have done a better job with the playlist why have to wait.

I feel the same way bout these maps, I love with Liberation and loathe Piazza.
