Have to do it in store, well worth it, for instance I pre ordered GTA V for the PS4, $47.99 plus I got a $10.00 reward certificate. You get this for select pre orders which there are about 5 im getting so it's already gonna pay for itself. It's $60 for 2 years but the offer ends July 5

EDIT: And how much is it when that $60 offer runs out? I'm broke at the moment.

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Newegg has the Assassin's Creed 4 digital card on sale for $39.99, it doesn't give you the game, just $60 of Xbox Live credit. So you get $60 of credit for $40.

And most new games get $10 in Reward Zone Credit when pre-ordered on top of the 20%. So net about $38 plus tax for a new release depending on how you look at it.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
I personally buy most of mine through GS with coupons and the trade bonuses etc...
Buy at the right times and you make out.
Then again I don't buy nearly as many games as I used to and also wait for used a lot then apply the discounts to that.Last edited by Skyboxer; 07-01-2014, 09:42 PM.Joshua:

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
seriously, I've seen you post over the years about the deals you get and I almost never see those same deals here in LA. Gamestop's trade in value sucks for the most part here.
i buy my games from either Best Buy or Amazon. once in a blue moon I'll buy a used game from Gamestop
Sincerely, Blackheart"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
yea but will they take psn cards

that's because you live next to the best GameStop in the world lol.

Their deals stack also
I just don't buy the same amount I used to (except for STEAM) to warrant a yearly program.
The best bang for the buck is waiting on used but most of the time I'm too weak.Joshua:

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
If you buy all your games only on console, you are doing it wrong!!!
I average between $5, $7, $15, or $29 for most PC games. I can't tell you the last time I bought a PC game for more than $30.
Splinter cell blacklist - $7
Far cry 3 - 7
Skyrim - 13
Sleeping dogs - 7
Tomb raider release day - 15
Dishonored - 6
Fallout 3 - 4
And the list goes on and on. I'm sitting at little over 100 games on PC (83 on steam, 10 to 15 on origin, rest purchased in store) and if you totaled up amount paid, the average per title would fall in the $8 to $10 range.
So short version is consoles are PCs with less ability and over priced games. If sport titles ever made there way back on PC, I'd sell my console today!
