Injustice is $8.40 on PSN for plus members. Definitely worth that money.

    Lego Marvel is also $10.50

For you GCU guys out there..

I signed up for my GCU back when it was $60. I think I'm going to head down there and pre-order my first batch of games in the coming days. People have been saying that it's $48 per title; Is that with or without tax?

It's $48 plus tax. When you pre-order, the receipt will still say the price of the game is $59.99, but when you pick it up, it will lower the price. If you pre-order some games, you will also get a $10 reward certificate after you pick your games up. They should have a list of eligible games in the store.

Sorry for sounding dumb, but you have me confused. You said the receipt says $59.99, does that mean you pay $59.99? The way you worded that confused me.

No you don't pay $59.99. If you pre-order in the store, you will put $5 down for the game and when you do that, the receipt will say you have $54.99 remaining, but when you pick it up, the system will give you the discount and you will only pay $43 ($48 - $5 deposit) + tax. Sorry I worded it that the way I did, I put that in my post so that when you did your pre-order and seen the full price on the receipt, you wouldn't think that your GCU membership wasn't working.

Pre-ordered 4 games from bestbuy.com and they already charged my card which is weird. Most places only charge when the game ships.

Yeah, if you order online, you have to pay for it all up front. That's how I usually pre-order because most of the time I'm using gift cards or reward certificates and for some reason, they won't let you use those as the $5 down payment in store.

Bestbuy is the only place that does that. Amazon always waits until it ships.

Mine does. I had two gift cards totaling $45 from trade-ins that I used to pre-order Madden over the weekend.

They put a hold on your account for that money. After a few days it will disappear off your account then you will be charged when it ships, or if you chose store pickup it charges you like 2 days before release.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

In that case, I would suggest checking out the free NBA Live 14 demo and putting the $10 towards a copy of FIFA 15 or NHL 15.

I think Live is solid. Definitely worth $10. But even if you don't like it GS has a 7 day return policy on used games.

Question: when gamestops fine print says "through 7/27/14" does that mean they're honoring it that day as well?

I'd really like to take advantage of their 50% trade in value but havent had a chance to get there till tomorrow, Sunday 7/27. TIA
