Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
If you have it set to higher and have enough points for a lower certificate, you can manually create one. Before I got Elite and started banking, I had mine set at $20, but created $5 and $10 ones if I needed to.Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Haha I end up spending about $4000 at Best Buy each year. All movies, games, electronics, etc. I buy from there. Every so often a friend or two will use my account on Black Friday, though they still won't splurge. Outside of bills and necessities (like food and gas), I don't really spend money on anything else.
This year I'm not going to spend much at all. Not going for Elite Plus, and will be lucky to get Elite.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

You buy a TV or a laptop you're already half way there. Add video games and maybe some iTunes gift cards and you made it.Last edited by dickey1331; 02-22-2015, 08:52 PM.MLB: Texas Rangers

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
I spend $130 or sometimes $180 a year at Best Buy. I rarely shop there. But speaking of Best Buy, they have a 30% trade in bonus this week.Comment

However if you're a GCU member you do get an additional 10% on trade-ins.Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Before I became a GCU member at Best Buy I would buy games there once in a while, usually would snag them from Amazon because I would save on tax, but since joining I get every one at Best Buy now. The only "major" item I got there last year was an iPad, everything else was video games. So I basically bought roughly $1,100 or so of video games/movies and Amiibo's for my son.Last edited by CubFan23; 02-23-2015, 10:31 PM.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

We still buy other stuff on Amazon you can't get at BB though, Amazon with Prime is still great IMO. Saves me a bunch of trips to the store over time.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
I get some stuff on Amazon if it's a great deal (easier to just do that vs. Price Match BB), but I agree...I try for my 20% GCU discount, and I think I'm locked in for like 3 years lol, so it's great.
