Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Another internet cop...just what we needed...
Seriously though, some of you have a hard time not coming off as complete *** holes with your comments.
Instead of charging him with a felony, maybe you can simply say something along the lines of "You may not realize it, but thats actually fraud and you may want to be careful."
DS isnt the only one, I've seen it a few times in here and had a similar comment towards one of my posts a while back. Stop assuming people are here just to "stick it to the man" and get handouts.Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
To be perfectly honest, up until Wednesday I hadn't the slightest idea that these deals possibly couldn't be stacked (and I still truly don't know, mind you). Only people on OS spoke about that.
So in all good fairness, I would have done this exact same thing and not thought anything about "getting away with it" or something like that.
And not for anything, but I invest nearly $4000 a year with them. I'm not just looking for a fast getaway with a single thing with them.

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Well it is or it isn't. I myself don't know.
Some of these ppl tho seem to spend more time buying then returning to save 5 bucks. Certainly their choice tho.
One thing that does piss me off nowadays is the lack of right n wrong. Or ppl tendency to pretend as such.
The way I look at it is, is it something you'd want done to you if it was your store. Hell have the country games the system in today's world and it makes me wanna throw up in my mouth.
I use to kinda be the same way when I was younger as far as tying to always get a leg up, but then it occurred to me when I'd go to work and expect to make a buck, well others should be able to make a buck also. Since then I've changed the way I look at things. If somethings on sale that I want great I'll pick it up, if not I don't have a problem paying full price either (when I can afford it) but no more time spent thinking about taking this back to exchange this with last week's receipt to get next week's deal for last year's game... Well you get the idea Lol.
Just general thoughts on the subject at hand.Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
I too am done with the returning something for $5 or $10 bucks saved routine. Happened to me Friday, bought my wife a bluetooth speaker at BB only to come home and see it on Amazon $11 cheaper with no tax and free 2 day shipping. Thought about ordering it and returning the one I bought to BB but then decided is it really worth going back, waiting in line for $11? Was my fault for not researching it a little more anyways.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
This isn't gaming related but I figured this would be the best place to ask this.
I bought my dad an Amazon Kindle for Christmas at Best Buy last week for $79.99. Now Best Buy has it on sale for $59.99. Is it possible for me to show them my receipt and get back the $20 difference? Do they honor sale prices for items already bought?Comment

As long as you are within the valid return window you should be able to. Take it to customer service and they should price match. If you need to convince them tell them to look at the price match guarantee and it says that if they lower the price in the return window they will honor.
Basically they are returning it them. Then You are buying it back from them at the new sale price.Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Can someone please tell Nintendo to drop the price of the Wii U? I've been waiting for that thing to drop to $249 and it hasn't happened yet. Even with the bundles they do have, I'm not ready to pay over $300 for the thing.Currently Playing:
