So I've been regretting selling my PS3 because I miss some last gen games like RDR, Fallout, etc lately and have been thinking about buying a 360 to play those and the Halo games again. Should I just wait until E3 to see if there's a price drop, or should I look used somewhere?

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
Destiny is $20 on Amazon for all platforms. You could probably price match at other places as well since its being sold directly by Amazon
Not sure if it's worth it, I never played it myself but after hearing the lack of content jokes for a while it might not beComment

Now I see why as I'm sure a good % of those people, even some I know have since gone back and re bought those consoles and at least some of the games for more then they received when they traded them inComment

Hindsight is 20/20...I had a 360 and all three of the games that I miss the most (NCAA FB, CH2k8 and RDR), I just felt like it was a waste having it sit mostly unused but now I'm getting the college sports itch which can't be scratched with current gen. I thought I was over it, but clearly I have a "problem".Comment

Well I finally joined Best Buy Gamer's Club Unlocked today, along with a purchase of the Witcher 3. Does anyone know how long it takes for the welcome coupons to come, and how those are delivered (e.g. by email or snail mail)?
Anyone have any other insights into the membership? It seems like a pretty good deal. Essentially $48 for every new, full-priced game over two years. Plus 2x points on each purchase, etc.Comment

Not speaking personally but I know a lot of people (at least that I know), trade in the old console with games when the new one comes out as places like GameStop have good trade in deals.

I bought a lot of games used for the PS3 and the 360 save those blockbuster games like Uncharted series that I had to have when they first came out. Even used you're gonna pay 10 bucks and for the most part all Gamestop would have paid is a couple of bucks for your used games.
The PS3 is worth keeping as a back up BR player. Both consoles have vast libraries you can pick up real cheap now. I will keep my 360 as long as it lasts for just 2k baseball and basketball. Tons of roster for the basketball games like 13 and 14. Why trade the console for pennies?
Still haven't heard if there is a program like Horizon for the new Microsoft console for roster sharing.Comment

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread
As a My Best Buy™ member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase. Eligible titles are available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Batman: Arkham Knight
Battleborn
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
The Elder Scrolls: Online
Forza Motorsport 6
Guitar Hero Live
Halo 5 Guardians
Mad Max
Madden NFL 16
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Mortal Kombat X
Rainbow Six Siege
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Star Wars Battlefront 3
Tom Clancy's The Division
I'm guessing this "stacks" with the GCU 20% off deal, so essentially you're getting any of these games for just $38 apiece.
I also got an e-mail from BB where anytime now till June 27th I can print a coupon and get 4x reward points, though it works on only one purchase. So if you find a time this month where you want to purchase big, put a few of these pre-orders in there. Two pre-orders alone would be another $5 reward certificate, making this about 2 for $70.Last edited by Blzer; 06-03-2015, 11:21 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
