Another thing to add, there are no more posters in this game and you now only have two options of lowering the Templar Awareness, bribing (lowers by 25%) and killing an official (lowers by 50%), who is now being escorted by soldiers.

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Yes, there are 100 Animus Data Fragments, which as you collect them you unlock more Desmond missions. And there are 10 Memoir Pages of Ishak, which unlock a secret treasure (like the Keys of Brutus on Brotherhood).Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
I love the ramping when you kill the last guy in the immediate area. Other games have done the slowdown thing but they make it look like 300.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
You can have up to 77 assassins and around 8 master assassins in your Brotherhood. That in itself is just awesome. I also like that all of them have different skill sets.
It is so many cities you can conquer.....like a dozen of them.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Memory Sequence 6 and this game gets better and better.
Also just wow:
SpoilerSad to see how the Brotherhood was in civil war in the past. They killed Altair's wife and youngest son. Truly incredible what that guy went through in his life. First his mentor goes crazy and he has to kill him. Then one of his best friends betrays him, kills his wife and youngest son. All of this over the Apple.
Also I must say disarming guards and making them look stupid is just awesome.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Ok I beat the game, let me clear up some of this over blown and misinformation about this game that I see on so many message boards.
1. Desmond missions are OPTIONAL You don't have to do them, they aren't part of the story line at all.
2. You play as Ezio 98% of the time and Altair 2% of the time.
3. Den defense don't play a big part of the game at all. So I really don't know why people are whining about den defense. Other then the mandatory defense at the beginning, my den only came under attack ONE TIME the entire game and that was near the end of the game.
Bottom line, if your wanted level is low, they won't even come near any of your dens. And if you got a master assassin in each den, those dens become immune to attack anyway.
4. Recruiting assassins really isn't mandatory either. Sure you can have 77 assassins and 7 or 8 master assassins. But that is up to you. More cities you control, more money you make, which means better weapons, armor, etc.
5. Bomb making isn't mandatory either. Hell you don't even have to make the bombs yourself, you can buy them already made. However it costs way more to buy them then to make them. But you don't have to make bombs, it is just another tool to make life easier for you.
6. Yes you still have the courtesans, thieves and mercenaries in the game. So you could either use them or bombs to get passed guards.
7. Crossbow is in the game, along with your hidden gun. However you have to buy the crossbow though.
8. There are four mandatory caves in this game that you have to do because it is part of the story line. However they all are relatively short, thank goodness and they all are straight to the point where as you know where to go.
9. There are optional treasure caves in the game as well.
10. After you beat the game and after the LONG credits, you can go back to the city and continue collecting stuff and renovating stuff.
11. Over all, I really liked the game. I felt the story line was better then Batman Arkham City. In this game they really did reveal a lot about the history of Altair and the whole brotherhood.
Some Good Stuff Moments:
SpoilerPlaying as a very old Altair when he goes back after being in exile for 30 years to reclaim the castle and brotherhood was just awesome. He was like an OG, just made it rain with arrows.
SpoilerEscorting Polo to the docks with the Apple. Good times.
SpoilerDoing one of the master assassins mission and your student kills the wrong guy. I yelled you idiot.
SpoilerBlood bombs, the reaction they have to that is priceless
SpoilerGetting all 5 keys just to walk into an EMPTY library, no books, no scrolls, just Altair sitting there in the chair holding another key to where the Apple is. I was like WTF ? And then Ezio didn't even want the apple, he took his gear off and said I had enough of this, I LOL'ed.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
1. They are so part of the story. Not part of -this- story but the overall one. Even then that's no excuse that they're poorly done for the most part, the 4th was pretty good.
3. Yet again no excuse for being so poorly done. I've got the 7 den masters and only did the 3 required to fulfill goals but they were all still awful and out of place.
4. Actually the best weapons and armor are free.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
I want this game so bad but I am gonna wait it out for 6 more days and save the $25 from buying it at Best Buy on Black Thursday night lol!!
Seems like a no-brainer purchase at this point. Gotta say thank goodness for Skyrim and a 60+ work week to make the wait a little easier. Skyrim?? ThisThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Running behind regular people and using the hook blade to sweep their legs out from under them and making them fall on their face or on their butt is just plain fun.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Played the 1st one, but didn't play any of the others. Since all the older ones are so cheap, would it be worth buying ACII and Brotherhood and then picking up the new one at Black Friday? The other two would only be about 40$ combined and the new one is 38$ on BF so it wouldn't be too bad. Are they worth the time of completing all of them?Comment
