Anybody else get the armor from doing the Ishak Memoirs? I think its freaking awesome looking, makes Ezio look like Dr Doom from the Fantastic 4 with the hood and mask lol.

Yeah that armor is awesome. I was really happy after I hated the look of the final armor in Brotherhood.

Finished this a couple of days ago. A very good game, and it really was pretty great from the finale of the 6th memory to the end of the game, but there was something about this one that was a little dissapointing to me. Maybe it was just the 3rd year in a row of an AC game that is almost identical gameplay wise, maybe it was the game not being set in Italy, maybe it was some plot details that I was hoping to hear about but didn't. Can't really place my finger on it, still a good game though, and I'm glad I played through it, and as always looking forward to see what the next one holds.

The reason why I wanted to play this game was because of Co-Op which is what really got me excited. I have yet to start, read a few comments and see its basically the same.

Can anyone explain Co-Op to me? Can you go through the whole story w/ another player/friend? Or are these side missions?

Regardless I have to play this game. The first one is the only one I never beat, AC2 I got 100% completion but I doubt I'll try that again. I just remember being stoked for co-op but havent seen anyone mention it.

Its a lot easier to get to 100% now. Most of the treasure maps are available right way to buy. They replaced the flags and after you get 50, the rest show up on the map.

I definitely dig the treasure maps being available right away. I think the flags showed up for me last time after I had beat the actual story of the game, then afterwards they showed them all on the map but I could be mistaken.

I beat ACR last night and will say that this game had some excellent moments towards the end with Ezio and Altair. The story wasn't that great at the beginning making it really hard to get going the first few hours. I almost feel like Brotherhood and Revelations really could have been one game melding the best of both. I think Ubisoft has screwed things up a bit releasing this franchise every single year. They don't give the story breathing room, but also the same for the consumer.

One good thing with ACR is that they stripped out a lot that hampered the series in the previous releases. I hope that they get rid of den defenses completely and the world will be alright for me. I just did not care for den defenses at all. The smaller map works so much better though I do miss not having a horse, why was that even taken out? Who cares if the world was small, it felt like horses didn't exist here and only during the carriage sequences.

The ending sequences with the skeleton Altair sitting in the chair was just amazing. Then instead of Ezio taking the apple, he leaves it behind because he has had enough of this ****. I was like this is some very deep stuff, so that right there made up for the overall story arc lacking.

I enjoy the assassin's Creed universe, but I'm just hoping if they continue we get stories of other assassins in different locales. I know I'm not the only one that wants feudal Edo era Japan or London/the british isles. Hell, industrial age US would be dope as well.

though they need to tweak the damn MP to be closer to the single player game.

I don't think it's because the games are releasing so often, Brotherhood was fantastic coming right on the heels of ACII, Revelations just wasn't put together well. The flow was bad right from the start, they just drop you into a large map with very little interesting story to push you along. If the other games eased you into the water, Revelations dumped you into the deep end of waters so cold your balls hit your lungs. ACR just wasn't pleasant at all at first and I think I am close to the end (sequence 7) and I am still finding it hard to get into. Ezio's story is a snoozer, Altair's stuff is fairly interesting but fleeting, I don't like Desmond's stuff at all. I really miss the subject 16 puzzles and video.

The only thing I can point to as far as why this game is different is the absence of Patrice Desilets, which doesn't bode well going forward.

The achivements went up for the next one and it's another map pack. This isn't Call of Duty.

There is no explanation of how to do anything. I think this summed it up best. I would be TOTALLY lost if I hadn't played a previous AC game. The hook is a pointless addition so far in my experience. The missions seem so close to the same as other missions done in previous games...

I find myself roaming around more and just killing guards/paying off heralds/looting than actually playing the game. It's sad when I'm not interested in going to the next "!" and would rather do stuff every other AC game has had.

Assassin's Creed Revelations Multiplayer DLC Incoming

Assassin's Creed Revelations is getting a hunk of multiplayer downloadable content this month.

The Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack adds six new maps to the Revelations multiplayer experience, including player-requested Italian maps from Brotherhood.

The three maps span the following famous locations:

Constantinople (not Istanbul)
Dyers
Jerusalem

The Brotherhood maps come in the following Italian Renaissance flavors:

Florence
San Donato
Siena

The Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack for Assassin's Creed Revelations comes out January 24th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Xbox owners can pay 800 Microsoft points, while ten U.S. dollars can be exchanged for ownership of the DLC on PS3 and PC.

Did anyone else find killing the templar leaders of the areas that were "cowards" EXTREMELY difficult?

Also, these den attacks really stink. I work my butt off to take an area only to have it taken back? At least they didn't take the shops I renovated with.

These 2 things are making the game tedious to me, did anyone just run through the game and just try to get the story?

Don't get your dens attacked, I went through the entire game and only had to do the tutorial den defense minigame by keeping notoriety down.

The cowards were a pain, but I did find it helpful once I figured out the leaders are always right by the tower so you could just run, drop in and focus on the leader (once he was dead the rest would scatter). The biggest pain was the one coward that walked around, that entire area was a pain with covered walkways and such, but I finally got him.

Thanks a lot for the tips! I think I'm working on the one with the walkways, I keep running into people and falling down while chasing him and he's really close to his hideout so you have like 10 seconds to catch him. I'll get it sometime!

Tell me the horses appear somewhere in this game? Also, what are the ways to bringing templar awareness down? I know about heralds and killing templar leaders... the others had wanted signs or whatever that you could tear down. It really stinks your awareness goes up for renovating, smh.
