    Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations

Just got to a sweet point that others I've seen were not impressed, maybe it's because I've put so many hours into each AC to appreciate it:

      Re: Assassin's Creed Revelations

I got a quick question if anyone can help me out with this one...

A couple of my guys have reached "Assassin" rank and it says I can place them as leader of a den.

      A) What do I look for on my map to find an open den to place him/her in?

      B) What does placing one in a den do? Does it prevent it from being attacked or bring up side missions or something?

The first one I think shows as a regular mission, after that the empty dens will show as a black marker and at that point you have to do master assassin missions (2 per den) and after that the den is safe. I only ever did one of these because they weren't that interesting after already having side mission overload. If the game was paced better I might have done more, but after spending so much time doing all the side missions already available I just wanted to finish and be done with it.

Sweet, yeah I definitely don't need more stuff to do. I'm enjoying rebuilding the town and doing the regular missions. Also sending the assassins on their missions. That's plenty, glad I don't have to do these. Thanks again!

Assassin's Creed heads to American Revolution - Rumour

The next Assassin's Creed is set to feature a new protagonist and switch setting to the American Revolution, a source close to the project has told CVG.

The exciting switch to the 18th century conflict will mark the series' 'biggest instalment yet', according to Ubisoft, and our insider indicates the game will be publicly showcased before the end of the company's fiscal year on March 31.

The American setting was first hinted in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's 'Da Vinci Disappearance' DLC, which drip-fed players a set of coordinates leading to New York state, USA.

Another hint featured in the ending of latest series entry, Revelations, when a futuristic globe hovered over the US (pictured).

Perhaps the biggest indication though came late last year, when a Ubisoft survey asked fans where they'd like to see Assassin's Creed go next. The options included, "The confrontation between British colonists and native Americans during The American Revolution."

The setting of course opens up all kinds of historical crossover possibilities for the series, including encounters with George Washington, who according to Assassin's Creed lore is in possession of an Apple of Eden.

Just beat the game... what a terrible ending. It just stops and that's the end? Seriously felt like a waste of time because of that.

Hmm, so would the new MC be part Indian? Could open up a lot of interesting plot elements.

Finally. But for $15 it'd better be like 6 hours long.

Based on the description it's only those crappy platform levels and the Gamestop pre-order quest which is now of course useless that the game is over because there's no use for the sword. They also say 2 hours which probably means 1.

I just picked this up for 10 bucks at best buy, I have played and beat assassins creed II but I have never played brotherhood. Will I be lost playing revelations or should I play brotherhood first?
