Re: Starhawk (PS3)
It was sent to me via email from PSN. I got to try a little bit before it froze up on me, but take Warhawk and place it in the future with some very nice looking graphics with being able to build vehicles, turrets, etc.
Cover box released, is that the Stargate that I see in the background? LOL!

Re: Starhawk (PS3)
I like the beta but it is overwhelming with everything going on and getting used to the surroundings. I do like that their is no longer auto-aim like in Warhawk plus I like how you deploy in a pod to get on the map. Maps are nice and large and I like how you can build towers, turrets, supply depots etc. It's a beta and being so their are connection issues and may take a few tries to get in but that should be rectified by time of release. Overall I enjoy it but it can be confusing at first."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

By the way, if the game crashes or whatever and your PS3 restarts and it asks you to send and error message or whatever to Sony, do it, it'll only help LightBox fix whatever issues they're having with that.Comment

Yep. I think this game will be easier for people to get into than Warhawk. You're not at a disadvantage when you start (you now are given a rifle to begin with instead of a pistol), Razorbacks handle much better than the 4x4's from Warhawk, hawks start off with 28 swarms instead of 5 (each swarm missile is weaker than it's Warhawk counterpart). There's still some balancing stuff they're working on. Oh yeah, and there aren't any early bumrushes by hawks like in Warhawk because of the rift system.

The razorback is too loose in controls hoping they tighten those up at some point.Comment

Re: Starhawk (PS3)
Yeah, it's more agile than the 4x4, but I tend to keep throwing grenades as soon as hop on the driver's seat to reverse. It does need some work.Comment

Re: Starhawk (PS3)
Today I think I ran across a cheater as I was constantly dying in the pod before it even hit the ground numerous times. I looked at how I died and the guy that killed me did a melee as the knife icon was beside his name. If I did make it to the ground I didn't last long as I would be killed again with no one around. I would have quit earlier but I wanted to see what was happening. It looked like an exploit of some type because it became unplayable. Has anyone else experienced something like this?"If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Starhawk (PS3)
Yep. People will always try to find exploits in a game. (Remembers people whining about not being allowed to jump to the glitch area in the ship level in Resistance).
If I run into this I'll report it.Comment
