I fell victim like you may lol

I never pay full price for a game but had to get this on PC. I was surprised how well it runs on my PC, runs on "Optimal" settings, which is just fine for me.

I've been getting stuff on PC if I can since I tend to be able to play it more, with the fiancee on the main tv with the consoles....

i was torn between buying xbox and pc also... i ended up going xbox since i can trade it in down the road. ( also they had no pc copies at the store i went into) so my choice was easy lol.

far cry 3 has co-op on both xbox and pc.

I almost got Xbox, but I was hoping that they'd get some awesome single player AI maps going (if possible) that would extend the game a bit....I figured that the modding community would love a game like this, and don't mind having it forever.

I have the PS3 version still in the box since the US launch. Have been on the fence because of the posts in the UBI Soft forums especially with multiplayer. What scares me is the lack of response from their development team and moderators there has been nothing about people's complaints. So it sits until I see responses.

Yeah same here. I have 0 interest in MP but would love to play maps I create with AI.

What problems are other players experiencing?

Mic issues
Lag playing Coop
Trouble finding games
No lobbies
Freezing
Concerns about playing user created maps and creating a playlist.

Since I play mostly online, I am afraid the game will be abandoned by players.

Ok installed it (PC) and am downloading the update now.
Will play for a bit then will see about the mods stuff.

Is this game as good as the reviews? I had literally no interest in it until a couple of weeks ago when the reviews started coming out.

Any game it can be compared to?

A more realistic Just Cause/Prototype/Infamous. A better put together Far Cry 2. GTA in a jungle. That's all I've got.

Basically an open world game set on islands/jungles/beaches.
