I've updated the Battlefield with 2 new FOBs strategically placed on the map (along with "Camp Ryan"). We now have Camp Kollars and Camp Fortitude, complete with vehicles, ammo, and explosives.

First off excellent job naming one of the FOB's [emoji3]. Last night was very cool with the battlefield always changing. It did seem that the enemy needed more armor though.

When are we returning to the battle? I will be home sometime after 8pm est. tonight.

One step ahead of you. I've made the Russian Forces heavier on the Armor. Also, I've created a Takistan Alive battlefield as well.

I'll create several different environments on different maps with different armies to keep things fresh. I've also added dynamic weather.

I'll be on around 8est.

Taking our second full scale "ALiVE" battlefield for a spin. This time, the US vs Russian conflict moves to the desert region of Takistan.

That was insane. Infreakingsane. By far the best ARMA experience I've had.

So many "wow" moments for Jason, Paper, and myself.

--Coming over the pass in the mountains to reveal an entire Russian armored group that proceeded to destroy us ALONG with 2 Russian Attack Helicopters overhead to finish us off.

--Our Apache support taking out 3 Russian Attack Choppers then having a Russian armored column come up and take us on with Paper taking out a T-80.

--Paper and I taking the Little Bird out to support our troops and seeing a blur go by us...which is a Russian fighter jet that proceeds to blow us out of the sky.

--The Russians attacking our airfield...we destroy the aircraft, the pilot ejects, and we chase down and shoot the pilot.

Unreal fun!

OS Tact Pack Hotfix 3.0
***Required install after main OS Tact Pack is installed***

IMPORTANT: Install Instructions for hotfix 3.0 requires deleting several old files from your main @OSTactPack in your main arma 3 folder.

Before Installing
1) Delete these files from @OSTactPack_v3.0/addon that start with lop and cba.

2) Delete these files from @OSTactPack_v3.0/keys cba_a3_rc6_hotfix.bikey

Now Install Hotfix
3) Merge the Hotfix @OSTactPack_v3.0 with your already in place @OSTactPack_v3.0 in your main Arma 3 folder.

4) All folders merge and copy replace.

What do you mean strategy game?

It very simple. It a ultra realistic shooter, its a flight sim, its a driving sim (to a degree), and in the broad scope its a "real life" sim

I always assumed this was a Command & Conquer type strategy game. Had no idea it was just a sim shooter!

It can be both depending on what mods you use.

We use the ALiVE mod which allows for real time tasks assigned to you and your unit based on the real time objectives of your side during a battle. So it's real time first person gaming with legit ever changing overall strategy by the opposing sides.

It's amazing.

These are dynamic missions...that means changing weather, dynamic auto task generation, and real objectives generated by how the battle is going between the Russian and US commanders. Lots of toys to play with...helicopters, tanks, APCs, etc. They're a blast on both Multiplayer and singleplayer.
