Got it this morning before heading to work, can't wait to play it. The graphics alone look amazing.. You imagine combining games like this and the new GTX Titan? Holy crap!?

On the subject of the Titan, my mouth is watering everywhere over that thing.. And my GPU's are only less than 6 months old!

Those videos Goffs posted convinced me to go ahead and picked this up. Downloading now. I love how customizable everything is now, and the new stances and modifiers are awesome. Time to dust off the Track IR, got to keep my head on a swivel.

I went ahead and purchased the ALPHA also. I caved but hey for $32 bucks for the entire game was the deal sealer.

I've never gotten that much into ARMA 2, I was more into DayZ. Should I just wait for that standalone instead of giving ARMA 3 a shot?

LOL blue that is your call. I play ARMA literally 10 times more than DayZ so I'm not sure. If you don't enjoy ARMA and just enjoy DayZ then I say wait for stand alone.

I'll probably wait until release like you've mentioned before. All the updates I've been reading about sound great though!

Game has one heck of a learning curve lol. Trying the infantry mission now and dont think Ive killed one person. Havent been able to find a way to invert the controller axis either. I can invert it with the mouse , but even when selecting the controller it wont invert.

Lol I hear that, but when you finally figure out how to do things such as changing stance, its very gratifying. Then you think of what the final release+mods will be like and I'm guessing that will be epic.

Mr biggest gripe right now is getting killed by friendly fire in nearly every single match. I haven't had enough time to dedicate to a co-op mission so I've been trying TDM to not much avail.

Highly impressed with the ARMA 3 alpha!!! For a alpha the game is running and looking great, once the full game releases this is going to be pretty amazing.

It is like playing a different game than ARMA 2. It feels different, it looks different, it sounds different, it even controls different. The only thing it has similar to ARMA 2 is the realism and dangerous nature of game.

I played a 20 vs 20 online game last night and that was pretty cool. It was a cool change of pace that I'm use to with ARMA but I still think the coop missions are the heart and soul of ARMA

What happens in a co op game when you die?

Do you get booted from the server or do you respawn 50 miles away from your team and original point?

Depends on the server setup, some death is it mission over. Others you spawn back at the base and they have other humans flying the Chinook shuttling troops to front lines.

Also that video of all the runs and stances were pretty detailed... you can do all of that with a controller too?
