    Blame the cod crowd.

It's sad but man I'd love Arma more if it wasn't so keyboard heavy

Yea, when I was playing Arma 2 at a buddies, (my pc ran it like crap) I mapped all the crucial controls and whatever i could to the controller (move/change stances/shoot/zoom/camera...) and had the keyboard next to me for the other stuff.

We should get a little OS co-op Raven Shield going though. Not nearly as complex with mapping the controls and such, plus I can run it !

Check out this mod for it.

Instead of blaming the CoD crowd though, I'll blame the runaway development costs and publishers turning away from niche games.

I'm going to reinstall 2 then, so many missions and mods no idea why I removed it.

Is the base game for this mod the original 2003 Raven shield?

                Yes.

Looks like they've been working on something else too.

I'm down for some Arma 2 but yeah that's what I did with my controller but it definitely goes without some good controls as well even doing that.

Also never had raven shield. I'd be a noob as I just got a pc for gaming a good year and a half ago

I would be able to play Saturday. I have a belkin keyboard that I gave a solid effort with but it still wasn't enjoyable playing for me. Once I mapped the controller using xpadder my fun with arma grew even more. 23 if you want help with xpadder let me know. The key is to have fun wether it's with a m/kb or controller

                      Re: ARMA III

Guys lets seriously schedule a day/time to run some coop missions. Try and get some type of routine going, like every Wednesday 8pm central we run a new mission. Lets seriously discuss when would be a good time to try and run some OS coop.

What would be the coolest is if we could get 20 to 24 people and run 12 vs 12 adversarial missions. Where it is a true coop mission but fighting human enemies.

Skip to 52:50 in this video. From the 54:00 to 56:00 mark it gets nuts.

Couple more just to show the realism of ARMA

I'm open to weekend games to, just weekends are harder for me. I work Mon-Fri and game after work, but the weekends I'm always hunting, fishing, BBQing with friends, going have drinks, watching UFC events, yadda yadda yadda. So while I can do select weekends when I have nothing going on, its just I'm less available.

Now Sunday afternoon/nights might be the best middle ground. I'm sure most people are not doing anything that night since work or school is the next day.

I'd also like to get a head count on who we have available and what versions of ARMA you own.
