Ok guys,

I'm working on testing a couple of options for how to setup our mod files.

First thing, can someone click this link and tell me if you can see the mod to "subscribe" to it? I have it hidden so interested to see if sharing the link will show it. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=458565841

Another option I'm looking into is setting up a FTP repository on my PC and using this Arma tool called ArmA3Sync http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22199 I played around with it last night and its a pretty neat launcher. As of now, I'm trying to figure out how to setup the repository.

If I can't get everything setup we might have to stick with the old fashion way. Sucks but I'm running out of options since Steam/Bohemia shutdown what would of been the perfect solution.

Damn, was hoping that would not happen. Thanks for checking paper.

Edit:

Sorry guys but looks like the only solution will be to stay the route of downloading changes when we implement them. Until steam allows us to combine packs then its just not possible to go the automatic updating route.

I kept the structure of the 5 pack system, this way when a change is needed, it won't require downloading 1 large file with all the changes. I can instead only allow the change to affect one area, which should help on file sizes.

Installation Notes:

2) Extract all 6 files. You will get 6 folders named

3) Cut and paste all @folders into your main arma 3 folder

4) Open up the Misc Pack and it will contain two folders, a TeamSpeak Client Folder & a Userconfig folder.

5) Cut and paste the Userconfig folder into your main arma 3 folder, allow merge and copy over current files

6) Cut and paste the Teamspeak Client folder on top your existing teamspeak client folder, allow merge

7) Done

I assume everyone saw that ARMA is releasing a brand new terrain piece on June 16. I'm hoping for Asia or a snow location. Maybe a New Zealand type w both snow and beach zones.

They are SHOWING it on June 16th. It doesn't actually come out until next year. BIS needs to stopping BS'ng around and just release snow and sandstorm weather effects. People been asking for those 2 things for years now.

Some mud effects would be nice too when you have rain. But yeah not having snow pisses me off. I can make rain, I can make fog but I can't make snow ? Really ?

Haven't been on probably half the reason is watching the finals and just being busy. I plan on giving it a shot.

Do i need to delete the other similar mods to add this?
