Took me a while but I can finally say I have played through Ocarina of Time. While I wouldn't put it ahead of my favorite Metal Gear Solid games I would say that it has the best level design of a game ever. The puzzles are pure genius and the charm of this game is undeniable.

Beating that was definitely one of those "must beat" games that I am thrilled to have beaten.

    Skyward Sword is next!

After 15 years or however long it's been, one of my new year's resolutions was to finally beat it. I could never beat the Water Temple(I was like 8). I am a few hours into playing on the N64.

Skyward Sword was really good imo, I just finished it and I must say...I was very impressed.

But that is a little off topic lol, Ocarina of Time is in my top 5 games I've ever played (the N64 version not the 3DS...but idk if there is really a difference)

          bump

just picked this up on 3ds. Loving it so far, definitely still holds up. This game was way ahead of its time, and many 3d platformers/puzzle games/adventure games borrow ideas from this game.

Just purchased this off the eShop for my 3DS XL. Still working through A Link Between Worlds (great game), but am really excited to play this game, as I never owned an N64.

I might purchase a 3DS just to play this again. The G.O.A.T. of console gaming IMO.

Can't argue with that assessment. Still an extremely awesome game and made even better on the 3DS.
