Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread
On a related note I am playing through Chrono Trigger for the first time. It is on PSN so it is the not as good version but I am loving it and it will do as a substitute. I had played bits and pieces over the years watching friends playing through and am going to go full on and make sure I play it all.Comment

Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread
Yeah Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games ever OneamongthefenceAnd thanks for the replies and compliments, I'm always buying and reorganizing... my one room apt. is getting more and more crowded.
O, I am from the future... FYI: T-Wolves and Vikings still have 0 championships in 2041, plan accordingly :P
To get back into the spirit of the thread, I've been playing through Super Mario RPG and Secret of Evermore the last few weeks. It gets a bit confusing bouncing back and forth on RPG's, but I can't help myself lol.Comment

Enjoy it, I'm sure you'll see why it's still so highly regarded today.Comment

Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread
Here's a great SNES game i recently found out about...Wizardry: The Llylgamyn Saga. It's a remake of the first 3 Wizardry games with updated graphics and such, which was only released in Japan, BUT it has menu options to change all the text to english !
Just got it and threw it on my psp. Haven't started it yet, but the Wizardry games are legendary and great turn based dungeon crawlers that are tough and don't hold your hands like todays 'RPGs'.Comment

Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread
I'm watching the Giantbomb playthrough of Chrono Trigger. They're not very good at it.
Though the important thing is it just occured to me all that amazing music was midi on a SNES cart.
Also something they pointed out I had never noticed...
