NBA 2K12, from the little bit I played I did not see enough of a difference. I have felt this game has been stale for a long time now. They seem to try to get the hardcord BBall fan with the legends. I don't care about playing with players I can create myself. I want to have controls that make me feel in control. I love basketball games because of the quick flow to the game. 2K12 manages to keep the game just as frustrating as in future games and clunky as well. 2K8 is still the best NBA game on Xbox 360... and that is sad.

People were really expecting that much out of Homefront and Brink? I didn't end up picking either up because I thought Homefront looked super generic modern miliatary shooter and Brink was made the the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars guys, which wasn't a very good game.

For me its Dragon Age 2. Still has its redeeming parts with a solid cast of characters and a combat system that I liked, but the whole game just felt lacking compared to Origins.

LA Noire and Madden 12. LA Noire seemed like it was going to be good after the first few missions. Then it was the same thing....again and again and zzzz.....I traded it in after grinding through the story. Madden 12 was just...bleh. That animation engine needs scraped. Shouldnt of bought into the hype for those games.

For me, It's NCAA 12. I don't think anything else has to be said about it.

I don't know what game you were playing, but I saw plenty of gunfights going on in the BF3 beta. I can't stress how watered down the Beta was, in comparison to what the retail will be.. so I wouldn't even consider calling it a disappointment.

Duke Nukem forever. you'd think after 15 years of development the game would have actually been a bit better.

NCAA 12 - Way too many bugs, some sliders are backwards, some sliders effect the wrong side, Online Dynasty didn't live up to the hype, custom playbooks were bugged out, coaching carousel was bugged out, dynasty progression was messed up for the 4th year in a row now, white uniforms don't get dirty, most of the logos in the middle of the field are upside down in broadcast mode, way too many big hits, bands in the correct stadium section didn't add any atmosphere to the game what so ever since you can't even hear the band, HDR lighting made most of the fields look funny during night games or cloudy games or fog games, only got ONE TUNER when they boasted all year long they were going to use more tuners then patches this year.

I swear if it wasn't for coach mode, which is about the only mode that works properly, I would have been stopped playing this game. Kind of funny the year they release their making of the game tv show was also the year the game was the buggiest game of the entire series.

Brink - enough said.

Homefront - that was the biggest scam ever.

Dragon Age 2 - Game was way too short, didn't care for the fact you could only play as a human either. The DLC is pretty decent though.

Over all this year has been full of flash but no substance what so ever. Quality control must have taken the year off this year for videogames. Way too many very short and bugged out games were released this year.

And hell don't even get me started with the online issues with NBA 2K12 and their website that haven't even launched yet STILL. Plus the fact it is damn near impossible to upload any highlights from their game to anywhere online.

Videogames companies need to stop focusing on twitter and facebook connections and focus on making sure their game WORKS properly and that it is actually good.

Out of everything I've played this year, Little Big Planet 2. Such a let down for me after the first one. Just got bored with it really quickly.

LA Noir. Did not buy this one and glad I didn't. I had my doubts and went with a rental - this game was ok for the first few hours, but nothing felt like a R* game to me with this one. I felt no need to explore this world, landmarks or even drive around to grab other cars since it all just blended together for me. Everything seemed like a chore after a while and not as clever as I had hoped.

At least the devs at R* can re-purpose the city for the next GTA

For me, L.A. Noire and Rugby Challenge. I loved the graphics for L.A. Noire but the repetitiveness and the fact that the crime was always solved, no matter which decisions you made, ruined it for me.

And Rugby Challenge is pretty boring to me, to be honest. I love that there's a rugby game for next gen, but there's so many features missing, and it includes basic mistakes that I'm over it already. I've actually given it to my brother because I don't play it anymore.

Duke Nukem Forever! That was just a waste of money for me.

Followed by LA Noire (which at least had amazing technical values) and that was still enjoyable compared to Duke Nukem.

On the sports front, Rugby World Cup was a total disappointment for me. Don't see how we can get such titles in 2011.

And the other Rugby game is not even available in most places, so yah Rugby, you and I have beef right now!
