For me, it was Dragon Age 2. After going through the first one and every ounce of DLC for it, my expectations were sky high for DA2. It was a good game, but not great like it should have been.

I hope that next years thread doesn't have me naming Mass Effect 3 as a disappointment.

The list for me is as follows:

Brinks: From how this game was hyped, the actaully experience was nothing special at all

BulletStorm: Very repetitve

Homefront: Another short game , mehh graphics, and mehh gameplay.

MLB the show: just dissapointed with how the analog pitching was implemented.

MLB 2k11: Game improved but not enough to make it a solid title.

I did not buy into the hype of LA Noire , so Im good there

It was fun for awhile. Then I got sick of it.

Honestly, I prefer Mafia II, as far as games taking place in that era go.

For me it's not any particular game The disappointment is in the lack of quality games for the kinect. I wasn't expecting it to take over hardcore gaming and allow me to play as a quarterback in Madden and stuff, but I thought after about a year there would be a lot more interesting and innovative games making use of the technology.

It seems almost every game seems to suffer from issues not recognizing to your body or having significant lag. But I know it's not the technology as a few games, like Kinect Sports, don't suffer from this.

Taking that into consideration, I guess I have no disappointments in gaming this year.

Child of Eden. After about 3 levels the awful game design starts to show. Just some incredibly poor choices here.

I think what would really help the movie is to bundle it with a game worth having that appeals to adults. And not just a light gun type game. I too am really disappointed with the lack of games for it.

After playing the demo NFS The Run certianly goes here. I hope that's not representive of Battlefield 3 on the 360 with it being the same engine and all. Most Wanted is 6 years old and looks better!

Have either of you tried the move with Resistance 3? That was really the only reason I was thinking of getting the move was for shooters.

Shooters are fine but they should be able to do other genres. Not sports/exercise games. The sharpshooter does look pretty badass though.

Biggest dissappointment tho is easily all the great games coming out this month and not enough money to get them all.

Killzone 3 (although I didn't buy this since it came with my previous PS3) - Just felt like another shooter to me and didn't do much that seperated it from all the other ones out there. The story wasn't interesting and the ending was awful.

L.A. Noire - Traded it in as soon as I finished it. I was overly hyped for it and did enjoy it at first but my enjoyment ran out well before I got to the end.

NCAA 12 - Obvious reasons. The funny thing is I remember saying on Twitter that I had a feeling it was going to turn out to be bad and yet I bought it (and the hype) anyways.

The Show 11 -- For one reason and one reason only. The 2013 or 2014 issue that comes up and really kills things, at least for me. I'm not even that big of a baseball fan but as a huge franchise mode gamer, that ruined a near perfect game. If you only get a year or two deep into your franchises and you use a contending/playoff team, it's not that big of a deal, but for someone like me that was really into the franchise I had going with a team like the Blue Jays, it totally killed things for me. Don't get me wrong though, the gameplay itself is amazing and probably one of the best sports games I've ever played, but that franchise issue disappointed me.

Madden 12: Can't put my finger on it, but it sucked. It got old really fast. A few aesthetic changes here and there, but the root of the game remains the same and I've had enough of it. Very well could be the last time I purchase it.

If they don't fix the NBA 2K12 issues, it may find itself on this list as well.

Batman Arkham City

Game was all over the place, the boss battles were mediocre, the free roam wasnt there, fighting system suck and the thing I hated most of all.............NO ROBIN, NIGHTWING STORY MISSIONS.
