Re: your longest gaming session?
Worries me how everyone says they wish they had time to play games like they did in high school. I'm a sophomore with only enough time to play on weekends. Damn, I'm already nostalgic for childhood.EPL-Chelsea La Liga-Real Madrid Bundesliga-Bayern Munich

Re: your longest gaming session?
The only reason something like this didn't happen for me was that FF7 came out before I got interested in Playstation (and really, FF7 was one of the things that got me interested). That's why 8 and 9 ended up being my marathon games.Comment

Re: your longest gaming session?
Mine was 12 hours back in the day when Killer Instinct came out on SNES. Me and my best friend stayed up from 6pm to 6am playing. I remember right before we stopped I pulled off an ultra combo. LOL.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Re: your longest gaming session?
Oh I remember playing Killer Instinct in the arcades when I was in high school. I was pretty good in that game. Kind of odd I never did buy it for consoles. But then again Streetfighter and the original Mortal Kombat, I never cared for fighting games on consoles.
And how many people remember the fighting game Battle Arena Toshiden or something like that for the Playstation ? That was the 1st Playstation game I ever played when my science teacher brought it to school one friday.Comment

Re: your longest gaming session?
Now that I'm back home, out of school, and working, I pretty much play games whenever I'm not clocking in hours at work lol. I don't really hang out with anybody here anymore like I did in high school; those new "friends" I associate with are all still in San Diego.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: your longest gaming session?
The day Skyrim released, I played for 15 straight hours, minus pee breaks and meal breaks. That's the first time in YEARS i've played anything for even 5+ hours. Working third shift made it easier, as I got out at 7am, and I usually stay up all day on Friday's anyways to have a "normal" weekend. Doesn't hurt that the wife and kids were on a shopping trip for the day.
I'd say other than that, my buddies used to put almost 24 hours at a time into High Heat. We'd have like 5 or 6 people over, and do a "draft" where we'd pull names out of a hat, and draft teams. This is after me and a buddy would spend days updating rosters and ratings. After everyone had teams, we'd sit around ALL day making trades. All that for just one season at a time. We'd go month to month simulating, all the while making lineup adjustments and further trades as we went. Nothing can match the fun and competitiveness of those days. Nothing like having serious bidding wars when you fell out of contention with the Giants and decided to trade Barry Bonds in High Heat 2004.

I know there were one or two days where I played the first Mass Effect from the time I got up to the time I went to sleep.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: your longest gaming session?
12 and thirteen hour days were the norm for me when I was younger usually SMB or Donkey Kong on the SNES. Super Metroid, those games. Then on the N64 era and PS1 it was DK64, Goldeneye or Metal Gear Solid. And its been pretty much Madden ever since. Now that I have a wife and kid, I still do 6 and 8 hour marathons every once in a while. (Skyrim)Because I live in van down by the river...Comment
