I'd say it was about 5-8 hours back when I was 9. I woke up one non school day when I was home alone and decided I wanted to beat my favorite game (which it remains) Paper Mario for what must have been the 3rd, 4th, or 5th time and started a new save file and managed to make it to the start of ch.4 b4 my mama got home.

I nearly hit a record last night. Played Skyrim from 9pm to 4am. I was literally falling asleep and the controller rumble woke me up a few times when I was getting attacked. It was then I knew I would not reach 8 hours of gaming and I hit the sack.

12 straight hours playing 2k12 doing private teamups the entire time. It's so much fun when you don't get jackers/chuckers and everyone understands the importance of ball movement

If we're counting MMO's, I remember several all-nighters with the original EverQuest or World of Warcraft.

Taking MMO's out of the equation, the original Civilization for the PC. I was as bad as one of those lab mice with the "just one more turn" mentality.

Back when N64s were fairly new, me and one of my brothers played Ocarina of Time start to finish from like 7 AM til 8 PM, getting Biggoron sword and everything. It was like our 3rd time playing through so we knew how to do everything. God I love that game. Maybe favorite of all time.

Oh wow I don't even know, and I'm kind of embarrassed to admit it.

When I was 16/17 and playing Shadowbane it was nothing at all for me to wake up on a weekend or during the summer around 9-10am and play until 2am.

Pretty sure I had similar gaming sessions with Unreal Championship and NCAA Football 2001...not to mention the final fantasy games.. Best guess is 18 hours.

I might go for a 12 hour session of Old Republic during my two week holiday. My wife is going out for a day with friends. I think I can do it (helps that the game is AWESOME!)

I got about 150 hours of skyrim played so yeah......lol.

A couple of other mentions would be Kotor 1 and 2. Use to play and play and play them two games.

Also back in the day Super Smash Brothers, Pokemon Stadium, Road Rash and DBZ Budakai 1.

Played Budakai 3 pretty long and Naruro Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for a good bit.

Working the night shift doesn't help. Days I'm off I got to stay up at night so my sleep schedule doesn't get messed up so it's usually tv and gaming for me. Lol.

I had to be quarantined for 4 days in August so I went to my in laws lakehome. I played games from 9 AM to 3AM for four days but I mixed in episodes of Breaking Bad.

Overall it felt like one big gaming marathon.

Back in my MMO era I think I played about 10+ hours straight of WoW a bunch of times. I kinda regret it though... NOT!

Oh I just remembered, My brother & I used to buy beer & play Socom 2 from evening till the morning sun came out. That was fun times!

In H.S. me and a frined played Wizards and Warriors for the NES 12 hours straight.

I can not go for a couple of hours any more without my brain feeling fried.

Back in HS my buddy was raging on Gran Turismo 4, we did one of those marathon races straight....happy that we had beer lol
