Just got BF3 and am waiting a few weeks to get UC3, but those would probably be strong contenders, as well.

After playing BF3 it's moves to the top spot and knocks NBA2K 12 out of my Top 5. I would love it that much more if I didn't suck at it.

2. Dragon Age II (I hated this at first, but now it consumes most of my time)

5. Madden 12 (by default)

I haven't played AC or 2k12 yet, but I'm hoping to pick each up soon. Dragon Age: Origins and the Mass Effect games are still in my Xbox more than anything else though.

3 - Arkham City and Asylum pack

1) Batman: Arkham City

- First game I "beat" in a long time. It totally sucked me in. It was not an easy game, but was not hard either. I couldn't wait to get home to play it every night.

2) Skyrim

- I can tell I will be playing this game for a long long time. So much to do. Open world games sometimes get on my nerves, but everything this game is trying to do has worked for me.

3) Battlefield 3

- First "real" FPS that really got me excited. I wish I had more time to really get better at this time. But Skyrim and TOR will be consuming me.

4) Star Wars: The Old Republic

- The video cut scenes and the mini-instances they generate for your quest lines is a great addition to MMOs. I get excited before I go into them. You seem more attached to the story line than in WoW. TOR will need to fix the combat system. As attached I am to the story, I feel that dis-attached to the combat. The animation and the button mashing does not seem to be very connected. I'm giving them a pass for now, as I am having SO much fun in this game.

5) NCAA 12

- My gaming staple. My only wish is that some day the CU Buffs will be a better team. My NCAA gaming excitement is usually directly related to how well the Buffs are doing.

Do you like standing behind a wall then...

1. Having the bad guy walk right up to you and get shot in the face?
OR
2. Getting off 2 shots from cover that might hit or might not,then having a grenade thrown at you? A sequence which will repeat infinitely until you kill them.

If you enjoy either of those then sure go for it. Obviously many reviewers and people enjoy it. I sure didn't but maybe you will. It is a very nice looking game series either way.
