As someone who had the PS3 game, I can say with no hesitation, I played the Multiplayer more than the story. About 100 hours more.

Not saying that the single player is bad, far from it. Top 3 experience last generation. Multiplayer was amazing though.

It's similar to uncharted's multiplayer?

I wish I was getting to experience this for the first time, it's one of my favorite games ever. I may rent it though to give mulitplayer a go. Multiplayer was just so much fun!

I still wish ND would have had a mode where Infected were thrown into MP. Either have them in the 4v4 or have Infected vs Human mode or even a co-op horde mode. They could have done so much more with MP and I loved Mp!

I thoroughly enjoyed the multiplayer as well just like Lingering, I just wish it would have caught on more with other OSers. Initially some of us played but after a while there would only be like one or two other people on when I would play. The game modes are all 4 vs. 4. The multiplayer captures the tenseness from the single player to a tee and gave me a multiplayer experience that I have never gotten from any other game.

It is definitely a more slow paced and methodical game when it comes to the multiplayer. It would be nice if maybe they have upped the player count to 16 players since they are on the new systems but who knows.

Another cool aspect of the factions multiplayer mode that I just remembered is that you can link it with your Facebook account so that it imports your friends into the game as part of your faction. So when you collect the blue parts that he was picking up in the video you sustain and grow your faction and they will be your real life friends. So if you don't get enough supplies and you get notifications about your faction members becoming sick or dieing it will be your actual friends. Their profile picture also comes up in game. I thought this was a nice touch that made collecting parts more personal as you were doing it to maybe save someone you actually know.

I sold my copy when the ps4 came out and many nights afterward I regretted. Because of the multiplayer.

You can sneak up on people like you can in uncharted. If you have a shiv.

The on the fly crafting really sets this game apart. It allows you to be creative.

Didn't play MP with the PS3 version. Will definitely play though with the PS4. ND did also allude to additional DLC content for the PS4 multiplayer in the future. One more week!

Man I am so hyped for next week. Never played the game (had to sell my PS3 right before it came out) and know very little about it (intentional, I try to stay away from games I really wanna play to not have anything spoiled).

Can't wait to fire up the Sone Wireless Golds, turn off the lights, and start the struggle to survive.

Yup.. Same here. Been a while since I beat the game so I have forgotten some parts of the game. Looking forward to playing this game again on the PS4

EDIT: It will also have photo mode similar to Infamous Second Son.

Gamestop is selling the game for half price if you trade in the PS3 verison. Well worth it especially considering I was going to pay $15 for the left behind DLC.

Fantastic, just what I was looking for. Game's only $50 normally, so that's a $25 purchase - that article has it wrong.

What's more, I basically got the PS3 game for $25 on Black Friday last year. So I'm not out any money at all with this deal.

It was such a great game I would have picked it up eventually, but it's a day 1 purchase for $25.
