I think they made Blops 2 pretty balanced campers either gotta learn how to play or go play some other game. Think about it why else would they make ghost not available until level 55 and then the perk only works if you are moving sitting still or camping in a corner uav will know exactly where you are.

I know Black Ops did "Gun Game" first, but Battlefield 3's "Gun Master" is so much more fun and well balanced.

In BOII, 30 seconds into each round there's usually someone who's got 10 kills, while everyone else has two or three. It's pointless to even play it.

I prefer BF3 over any of the CODs for the challenge and the actual warfare, however if I just want instant gratification, Blops 2 fits the bill. Within seconds of spawning you are either shooting or getting shot. Not really a fan of it, but I am glad the kill streaks were toned down. No more Chopper Gunner / AC 130 Gunship / Nuke within minutes of the game starting.

I think too many people bitch about camping. Stop worrying about others an play the game the way you want. The less you worry about others the less frustrated you will be.

This is coming from the pure definition of a run n gun player. Anyone who has ever played a shooter with me knows I don't camp.

That is just nonsense.

I am a run and gunner...and if you read the map in relation to your teammates, you can more or less guess where the opposing team is and therefore, it isn't camping. They are holding the action spot hot zone down.

If I get killed by a guy who is sitting in a high traffic hot spot, then that is on me and I need to attack it in a smarter manner. Sitting tight isn't camping.

But if I get killed by a scrub where there is no logical reason whatsoever to be in the spot other than he is a scared virgin, then that is camping and he is a no skill kid.

People whine in every room I am in about camping and it is ridiculous. I have been called a camper millions of times and I probably haven't stayed still in the same spot for more than 2 seconds. It is the go to excuse when people get owned...camping and lag.

Agree, when people die they blame campers an lag. How about approaching a skilled cod player in a smarter manner?

If I clear out a room I will leave a bouncing Betty in a corner an a shock change on a doorway because there is always someone behind you.

I agree plus people complain too much about head glitching. Since when did using cover become head glitching. What should a person do just stand out in the open. If your taking cover to get an advantage that's smart playing especially when you know someone is coming toward you or is around a corner. I personally move around taking cover at times depending on the situation. Also if you not cheating or glitching then a person can play anyway they want. It's just a game nothing important.

Again...its not called "camping"... its called tactical placement. Geesh. For real though, camping is essentially creating a perimeter. It can be done for an offensive or defensive purpose. Its completely ok and folks just need to learn how to combat it.

Use some smoke so you can move freely, or find a way to flank.

I've never understood all of the complaining about camping either.

My thoughts on this game:

I absolutely suck. I've always been a run and gun player, and career throughout COD games I have had an average KD around 1.15. Nothin amazing, but I've alwas been solid. In this game, m KD is .75 and falling. I used to have a lot of games a few kills under/over 500 with a big game thrown in every 6 or 7 games or so to inflate my kd a bit. Now, I'm just not getting those big games. I'm noticing my aim is terrible, far worse than its ever been.

Another reason for my low kd is because I play a ton of domination, and in those games, I have absolutely NO regard for my life. I have gone games with single digit kills, 30 plus deaths, and 10 plus captures. I'll toss on a riot shield and just camp a flag over and over again until my team caps it.

But when I'm not playing dom games, I can't be a positive factor to the team it seems. I feel like the spawn system is weird on this game. I can't explain it, but given my position, my teammates position, I still don't have a good feel for where the enemy team is. And when I do get the drop, my horrible aim means I lose probably 70-75% of my head up "coin-flip" gunfights. Anybody have tips on improving my aim? It just feels weird because I'm a COD vet since COD4, and I feek like a noob again. Luckily, I'm still enjoying the game
