True, and there's still plenty of problems with MW2. But that's part of my point, instead of rushing the game out every year. And milking the product with overpriced map packs they should actually TAKE TIME, and polish the game up. I'd rather have a polished game released than a rushed game with a bunch of problems and patches plus a bunch of map packs thrown in. I doubt this will ever happen though because they know how much money the game makes whether it's polished or not.
I'd have to disagree that they're heading in the right direction, IMO it's getting worse. There are so many map packs released to milk the product and they still pop these games out in too short of a time period and they all have a lot of the same problems year after year. But as i said earlier, why change anything when they know people will buy it no matter what?
As for Black Ops 2, eh. I'll have wait and see but im not expecting too much honestly. I didn't really like black ops, but i think they did kind of have the right idea with trying to fix certain things from MW2(noob tube spam via flakjacket, killstreaks not building killstreaks to reduce camping, getting rid of commando, no quickscoping, no boosting) but the game still had plenty of the same old flaws(knifing system is still bad due to horrible hit detection, hit detection in general is bad, horrible spawns, guns need better sound effects).
