I've never been really into Call of Duty until Black Ops II, last year BF3 took up most of my time. But this year's COD is actually a lot of fun even if at times it's really frustrating. I like that you can have a great round and then absolutely suck the next round. Yes maybe the lag might have something to do with it, but I've also found I've had better games by finding a good loadout and learning the maps. Also the recent patch has made the gameplay more bearable.

A lot depends on who you are playing with, I've played against players who seem to have esp, others who camp in the most random of spots, and the frequent smg specialist who hip hires and always seems to win a one on one. But I have to say one of my best experiences thus far online was absolutely destroying this guy on Hijacked as I was controlling the one observation deck and had bouncing betties in front of the door. He kept running up and triggering and explosion. I also hit him with some of those shock grenades, and I heard was whining about how unfair it was. Well the next game, I decided to employ the same strategy, but another player caught on, diffused the bouncing betty and I was history. Just an example of how balanced this COD is.

I am one of those people that has to learn the boards before I get to the level where I usually play at. Not that i am great at it, my k/d ratio in Black Ops is like 1.3 range, not great but not bad either. In this game it sucks right now, but it will come up.

I'm also one of those guys that don't care if you are a sniper every game, or if you camp all game long, or run around with a knife and kill people. They are all ways of playing. I like to snipe, it's my favorite thing to do, but I can only do it on a couple of boards and make it work. I am also guilty of camping, but not much, I will only really do it if we are ahead late in the game or own all 3 spots at once. Then I will sit on a spot and let them come to me, but the problem is sometimes people are not playing the game itself, they are just trying to kill people.

I also believe that opinions from everybody is good, good or bad. Although it seems like the people that complain the most never have anything good at all to say about the game.

I think in the end this will be one of there best COD's yet.

Just picked up the game... loving it so far been playing nothing but ground war. I hate the map Yemen already though.

Seriously? Yemens my favorite map in this game, I'd put it near the top of my all time favorites right behind Crossfire, Backlot, Firing Range, and Afghan.

Just preference I guess, I actually like all the maps other than Cargo(Just because I suck at it, it isn't necessarily laid out horribly) and Highjacked(It's way overplayed). And even those maps are alright.

Also, has anyone played the map Express(train map) a lot? I've been playing since release day, I'm level 52, and I have only played that map once, and the match lagged out after about 25 seconds. Kinda weird, idk if it's just random luck that I haven't played it or if it an uncommon map, but I've played every other map 5+ times at least, some 10 or 15+ times.

At least 25% of my games have been there. Getting sick of that map already. I bet at least 75% of my games have only been on 3 different maps.

My main gripe is the game is just to fast especially when using lightweight with sub machine guns. It's like people are on ice skates spinning in circles around people. Don't get me wrong I am actually enjoying the game regardless just wish speed was toned down.

That bouncing Betty is the most annoying piece of equipment in this game!

laydown as soon as you hear the betty pop and it will explode above you and you wont die.

That was my first impression of the game. Its like everyone's on crack.

Well it was an up and down day of double XP. I got together with 5 or 6 different friends and we tore it up in Hardpoint. I basically did an entire prestige in a day. We knew where all the Hardpoints were going to be before they popped up and basically kept the scoring rolling in our favor the majority of the day. In the one match on Raid we won by a 250-8 margin. They have to fix the rotation and make it random, otherwise a lot of people are going to hate the mode because of it.

Yep.....just like every game in the COD series did in the past. Unless you yourself move forward to a certain point, they will just keep respawning.

I could live with the forward movement being fast but not sideways and backwards being the same speed. Like you said it makes everyone feel like their on crack sliding everywhere giving you no time to breathe.

Yep.....just like every game in the COD series did in the past. Unless you yourself move forward to a certain point, they will just keep respawning.

I thought MW2 did not have this....but maybe I am wrong.

This game is really starting to grow on me...I am loving the FAL and just trying to slow my game down and check my corners. I am throwing bouncing bettys everywhere to cover my *** though because I was tired of getting shot in the back every 30 secounds.

Are any of the BF3 guys trying to spot as much as me, I keep thrashing my select button hoping to spot a guy running and nothing happens then i remember what game im play! lol
